Sorry for the lack of posting guys, but the Army and work at the house has had me tied down.

I've been hunting when I can, and am currently in prep mode for American Redbone Days. I'll get there on Wednesday so I'll be there for all of the action this year. We'll be at the Lakeside RV park if you want to come and visit.

Haley is doing well, and should have a good litter for Jack and me. I'm getting her whelping box made this week (I'm way behind on that idea) and she should whelp out around the 8th of June.

Well guys I'm off again. I'll catch you in the timber.

I am greatly indebted to you and Mrs.Dora for allowing us this great opportunity would such a fine hound.

Dad gets all the credit for putting in the time with Tim, but I am gonna start pushing him in the hunts at redbone days, then every hunt I can make it to after that, God willing both HTX title and Dual Grand.

He is already a bench Ch so Grand Ch should come fairly easy.

I thank everybody for the support they have gave and Mr. Kent Wiley for introducing me to Mr.Stringer and helping me split these hotel and gas to make it to these events. I couldn't do it without all yall.

You're as good of a friend as a guy could have. You splitting those fees with me helps us all get there and get it done. I'm not sure I could have gotten to all of the places we have been and done the things we have done if we hadn't have split them.

Haley is looking big and round. She's had the best puppy food money can by, kept comfortable, and has a heck of a whelping box ready to go.


I'm excited to see what comes of this litter. My greatest wish for this litter is that the people who get them hunt them, enjoy them, and give me honest feedback.

Jack x Dixie

Jack was bred to Dixie yesterday for the first time. She will be locked up two more times.

This is a nice female who is a thorough, hunter and a very good tree dog. She is Timber Chopper and Fireball bred (I'll post the pedigree).

Dixie is dark red and has a nice demeanor, and is a pleasant dog to be around both in the kennel and the timber.


Brian Jones will be the one selling the pups, pups will be performance paid.

Annie is our pup out of Jack and Haley. It was her 2nd night in the woods and she went out of sight several times without a tracking collar on her and stayed gone about 15 to 20 minutes by herself because Tim and Jabber got away from her quick. She is about 14 weeks old. This is the last drop on a Big den tree.

She also had the chance to run off game and paid it no attention.

For all my brothers in spirit and coondog bloodlines ... I hope nobody finds it disrespectful that im adverticing my pup as hoffmeister breed , its because the pups are heavy that way.... I hunt a jabo pup.. Ive never found a hillbilly bred female to go in my kennel... Maybe the next Jack X Haley cross... Ill have one

Not at all Brian,

The preponderance of that pedigree is Hoffmeister. That means they are Hoffmeister, nothing wrong with that.

Hoffmeister has some very nice hounds out there, and that bloodline has a lot of tracking ability.

So as we all know, Kent is away on a extended stay vacation due to the good idea fairy.

Jon Christmas is taking care of his Jill pup who is out of the Jack and Haley cross. Last night was the second or third time out for her. She is 5 and half months old and stayed with the big dogs stride for stride. She left out and went 9/10ths a mile on one drop, and all night long she was busy checking trees and just plain hunting. Looking forward to walking behind this female for a long time to come.

I've gotten some updates on the pups out of Jack over the last few weeks.

So far, none of them are afraid of the dark. lol Jonathan Christmas' pup Annie and my pup Jill have both been over 1/2 mile with the old dogs and never missed a lick.

Larry Stringer's pup was over 400yards at the tree doing his thing on his first night out.

I'm really excited about this cross and what I'm seeing. Thanks so much for hunting these pups and letting me know how things are going.

Mr. Mike Hall (LeftTurnClyde) has a nice looking little female out of Jack and Dixie that is showing lots of natural want to get it done too. She should be old enough to start in the woods in another couple of months. I'm excited to see how that cross looks.
