Its been so long that I eat squirrel forgot what it tastes like. Do you fellers take out the game scents? Dad called 'em glands, in the legs and back--little black spots. See ya all later---GOOD HUNTIN"!!!

I do ,dad called them" kernels glands"..why I don't know..but he would eat the brains too..mom would fry the heads last..dad would take the back of his spoon and crack the skull then scoop the brain out...My rule is "if it thought with it" or "talked with it" "dont eat it"...liver go's in the gut bucket too...

When you cook them in Wine you can't taste them. You can take the oldest squirrels fox or greys and cook them and the meat will fall off the bone. The only animal I won't cook in Wine is a coon. Got to have it Bar-B-Cue.

When I was young I would eat the squirrel brains and the tongue also! Guess that is why I am so smart today!
