Corky, they all must have went on a Christmas cruise and didn't invite us.

We woke up to a couple of inches of new snow. Of course, it was a great cover for the ice. I went down like a ton of bricks today while we were checking traps. Jusy getting my left arm better and now my right one is messed up.

Got several emails from the Red Cross this wk wanting my B- blood so I stopped at the church blood drive on the way home from PT. They were giving everyone that donates blood, a tshirt. Since the rds were so bad not too many were showing up. It started at 1 pm I got there around 3 and left about 45 minutes later. The girls working said they only had a hand full of people. 2 were coming in when I was leaving.

The latest cruise I've been on was down Middle River on a John boat, that was a few years ago.

The cruise that was the most fun was taking an amphibious vehicle to a Navy destroyer out in the Pacific Ocean a long long time ago.

My daughter & I had a ball with the dogs last night, her Vizsla ended up falling off the creek bank & dunking himself in the cold water. Didn't see any coons think we went out to early.

Over 6" of snow here. We saw lots of coyote and a few bobcat tracks, some close to our traps, but nothing in them 😞
Gonna get more traps out tomorrow, we still have a wk of bobcat season left. Fisher season went out on Wednesday. Coyote is in for awhile, but we're afraid where we're trapping now, we'll get a bobcat after season and we'll have to let it loose. So we'll probably pull all the traps around here next Sunday. Was hoping to set some at the farm for coyote (we see and hear them when we coon hunt) and see if his dad would ck them so we wouldn't have to drive down everyday, but his dad still isn't doing well. Guess we have a wk to decide.

Hayseed sounds like a nice hunt with ur daughter. Chuck and I find it hard to believe the hospital didn't mix up babies at the hospital. Our son isn't into hunting or trapping any furbearer. He isn't big into deer or turkey hunting either. He does come home in deer season....mostly to visit. He likes to fish and hunt squirrels, but he dated vegetarian for awhile and doesn't do much of that now either. When he told me he was dating a vegetarian, I told my friends that God must have a hearing problem because I prayed he'd marry a veterinarian.

Dan W, hope u find out what's wrong with your back soon.

Corky, I've never been on a cruise, but its on my bucket list.

Rob, Aren't those Christmas cookies yummy? One of my New Year's resolutions will be to lose weight.

Our snow is almost gone, too; but its suppose to get cold and get a little more snow.

Chuck tried calling coyotes a few time, but didn't have any luck. He use to call fox and did ok. He thinks he needs one of those new fangled calls. I told him to pick one out for his Christmas present because we have $400 to use at a local sporting good store. Didn't know the call would be that much. He hasn't even got the call and now he's talking about getting a new gun, scope and somekind of scope light! Give them an inch and they want a mile 😉 Not gonna say a word because if/when I find a horse I want...I'm getting it.

WB, why would u want snow? I get tired of it really fast. And we've got 3' at one time...not fun.

Almost all the snow was gone so now its starting again 😞 22° now with windchills in single digits.

Trump and Obamacare, Trump Inauguration, Trump and Putin! Not long now to see what he's gonna do. Haven't seen any new threads on this forum about him. Democrats still licking their wounds and Republicans hoping for the best.

Got a few more traps out today. Pulling all of them Sunday because bobcat goes out. Checked out a beaver dam today. Going to set some beaver traps next wk. Don't like cking them as well...too much cold water. I saw Chuck sink in over his boots today.
