Better watch out! Swag is putting it all together and treed his first coon last night along with Clyde. We made a couple of drags for him after the coon jumped out and he is looking like a pro! He is LOUD!!!!! It won't be any question about who's dog struck when he barks with a huge screaming bawl.

I have hunted him about 10-12 times now. He still has a ton of puppy in him and wants to play with my old dogs but he is putting it together. He can run a track like an old dog and isn't afraid of anything! Last night was the first time I've ever worked him on the tree and also the first night he's even been hunted on the river. We had him treeing nicely.

You would think he's half lab! Once he found out he could swim, he spent more time in the water than out!

It's exciting to have a young dog doing so well. He is 9 1/2 months old.

I think you have me confused with someone else, maybe Mike Shannon? I'm just a coonhunter looking to get back into competition hunting. I don't have a line and don't want one. I just want to get something that I will get the job done and that will make me proud. I have this pup and a female off Hardwood J-Bean that will be my projects. Good luck to you. Sounds like you have a plan.

Mike, look forward to seeing the pics. I would love to hunt with Smoke or Jag (or both) while I'm there if possible. I am still looking for a quality female to bring to those boys. I will find one eventually. Just picky!
