WAS UP AT PELICAN LAKE OVER THE WEEKEND FOR A GRADUATION PARTY. I ALWAYS LIKE TO STOP AT WESTFIELD BY THE PIONEER AS A LOT OF GOOD MEMORIES WERE CREATED AROUND THAT AREA. WE USED TO GO UP AND STAY AT JOHN COSSMAN'S AND HIDE HUNT AROUND THE WESTFIELD/HARRISVILLE/MONTELLO AREA. WOULD SLIP INTO THE PIONEER FOR THEIR HOT ROAST BEEF OR TURKEY PLATE, MASHED TATER'S VEGGY'S AND ROLLS. <v>

HE/OPPY IS A TRUE FAMILY MEMBER FOR SURE. HE RAN LOOSE AT THE CAMP GROUND ALL WEEKEND AND GENERATED A PILE OF STORY'S FROM THE RESIDENT'S OF THE NORTHWOODS. HE IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME FRIEND.

Don't wait to long he getting old!and is a reproducer I own ntch shivers rush creek Shelly and she 110% coondog .I hide hunt more than comp hunt and have bred her for the 3 rd time pups due end of July and all my other hounds are out of her so I say he throws reproducers also oppy is one the blue hounds jewels and in future I'm sure it will show!thanks Perry last 9 years Shelly sure has put me deeper in this coondog world!give old oppy a pat for me!

AFTER RE READING YOUR POST, I HAD 2 REPLY AGAIN. I AM A COON HUNTER/HIDE HUNTER FIRST AND FOREMOST. THE COMP HUNTS ARE WHAT THEY ARE AND LIKE THEM TO A POINT. I LOVE TO COON HUNT, ONE DOG, STRIKE DO WHAT THAT INDIVIDUAL DOES BEST, SHOOT AND SKIN THE COON AND RECAST OR HEAD TO THE HOUSE FOR THE NEXT INDIVIDUAL TO FIRE LOOSE AND SEE HOW THEY DO IT AS COMPAIRED TO THE LAST ONE HUNTED. THE BASICS IS WHAT I LIKE, ONE DOG AT A TIME AND KEEPIN SCORE WITH THE RIFLE AND A SHARP KNIFE. ME AND 4 DOGS KILLED SKINNED AND SOLD 169 COON THIS LAST FALL. NO RECORD I'M SURE, BUT I GOT TO LEARN ALOT FROM EACH AND EVERY DOG HUNTED. TREEIN REAL LIVE COONS IS WHAT IT IS REALLY ALL ABOUT. <v>

I'm the same I judge a dog on how many coon I tree,slicks,trash they run,how much I enjoy them title I don't get real exited about there nice but not worth getting exited about or fighting a. bout .Its almost July and already getting exited about Nov already.I turned in 190 coon in to fur buyer and I shot. Around 210-220 this year Shelly and buckeye are my once in a life time hounds oppy daughter and grand daughter I cut them then go shot a coon no stupid stuff get gone get treed then I shot coon in fast forward they are not perfect but I go to say they have put the coon hunting bug deeper in my soul than ever.Same with my family once my first child was born I fell deeper in love with my wife with every child it gets worst I most be a softy when I enjoy something all the way to my soul it gets planted pretty deep.My priortys are God,family,my dogs,enjoying life,work.Thanks again Perry!

Went to the Iowa Youth Championship yesterday, and had a great time. Emma won GRCH Females on the bench with Rose, Rocket "kinda" swam in the water race, "well at least he didn't drown" IT WAS QUESTIONABLE LOL, and Emma got 1st place in the hunt with Rocket.

There is no doubt who the FREAK SHOWS daddy is 10 mins in the house last night and a few minutes outdoors and she had already figured out she wants to be a house dog. Olo Oppy has alot to offer this breed and after just 6 hrs spent last nite watching her I saw alot of the old man in her. THANKS OPPY!
Perry thanks for the chance to get this little female. sure enjoyed the visit as always and always looking forward to the next.
