Also tracked several turkeys, a couple coon and a fox, I was ready to bag anything today .

Rob, they only had on FB that the bear was killed in Somerset Co.
Its great u take ur daughter hunting. My dad would never take me, but he took my older 1/2 sister and my younger sister. Maybe it was for the better because they only hunted a few yrs and I've been hunting deer for almost 40 yrs now. Only went 3 yrs without getting one.
Chuck wanted me to try hunting deer. I told him no way was I gutting a deer or dragging one out. He told me he'd do it. So the deal was made...I shoot and kill and he guts and drags. LOL Its works pretty well for us.

Hope everyone has a
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I GOT THE 12 PT this AM. Can hardly wait for Chuck to get home to see it! Didn't even know it was him until I found it. I saw a deer moving and grabbed the binoculars. Was watching a little spike for s few minutes then a bigger buck stepped out. Could tell it was legal so I grabbed my Mohawk and got it out the window. By that time there was another buck and 2 does. Picked the buck that had the most pts and shot. The 2 bucks ran into the brush and the spike and does stood there. I went to the other window and saw one buck running aways off then about a minute later the smaller buck trotted down through the woods. I was so excited and and upset I was shaking like a leaf. I paced around my 8' sq tree stand for about 10 minutes still shaking (not as bad) scolding myself and wondering what the heck happened...there should have been a dead buck laying there and instead it was running through the woods yet! I just happened to be at the window I last saw the bucks running and there was a deer! It looked like it just fell over!!! I thought I was hallucinating ☺. I waited about another 10 minutes and couldn't take it so I grabbed the 6mm, turned off my stove and went searching for my buck. Just when I got to where I thought it was another hunter came walking down the property line, just in case I wasn't hallucinating and the buck may have some life in it, I waited until he got out of sight. I walked around for about 5-10 minutes with no luck. Finally, decided to go out a little further and there he was!!!! He's not the monster, he looked like when he was in velvet, but he's nice enough I'd like to get him mounted.
THE END of my bucktail☺

Thanks for the Congrats. We're getting mine mounted. Everything I read on European mts said NOT to do them in the house, BUT Chuck's 10 pt has been simmering in the kitchen all day. He's such a lucky guy to have an understanding wife like me. ☺

Hay WB, how was the wedding?

Dan, I never figured out Photobucket, now I can't even get on it. If u have a cellphone, I can text.

We cut up both deer today. Made for a long day. My uncle from OH passed away on Monday, the funeral was today. We felt guilty not going to it, but its just too far when there's so much going on here right now. Chuck's brother came home from Tx because their dad hasn't been well since he got Bell's Palsy. Last Friday, he went to the ER again and they said he had pneumonia. I've been after him to get chkd for Lyme's; they finally
drew blood on Friday (its been about a month) to ck for it. Today, they told him he has Lymes. Hopefully, he'll start feeling better because he's about ready to give up. Our son is suppose to come home tomorrow, he hasn't been home for months. He's worried about his grandpa, too.
