I had an absolutely phenomenal time down in Winona. I could not have asked for a better event than what I attended.
The fellowship was out of this world (as always) and we had some darn good hunting on top of it.
Each of the Jabo pups down there (Jack, Jenny, Jabber, Rusty, Jo-Ann) showed their cast a coon on their own. That was about the best you could ask for from a line of dogs. Four different litters were represented in those five dogs.
Jack did a good job, he got treed with the meat and showed us a good time. He worked in dry land, rolling hills, swamp, and pine thickets and did a good job in all of them.
I have to say thanks to Chris for taking us hunting when others were ready to go to the house, I know it was late and I know some of the terrain was rough....but you showed us good hunting and good coons every time. I truly appreciate that.
And as always I have to say thanks to Larry Stringer and Jon Christmas. Those two kept me on track and kept me on my toes for the hunt. Jon also kept me on my toes and served as my co-pilot for the drive there and back....not an easy task.
I also want to say a special thanks to my wife, Amanda, for coming down and putting up with all of us coon hunters. The kids had a great time and I hope that you did too. I love you and pray we have many more years of going down there together as a family.
