On this day of thanks that is what is on my mind. Thank you to all of you who are hunting these dogs out of 6 Again. Many of you keep in touch via this message board. In addition I have enjoyed talking by phone through out the year with some of you on a regular basis,which I'm not exactly shy about doing. This year has seen me travel more than I have in years and I took advantage of that to visit with some of you. It is great getting to hunt with you and these dogs. Also I enjoy the banter back and forth between you guys--feel that only good can come from this down the road for all of us. I'm thankful to be enjoying our sport as much or more than I ever have. There are several dogs that should finish to Nt Ch and several who have wins toward their Gr Nt Ch degrees. I'm trucking along trying to do my part to see that the ones down here go as far as possible and I certainly wish all of you good luck. So thanks everybody, keep up the good work, let me hear from you and continued good luck and good huntin!

C.W. The female i got is really doing good. I have had her on two turn loose coons, and I have taken her out 3 times with my old dogs this season she has ran and treed on every coon she has been on. She has never quit and came back on a track and she has treed with them, and stay at the tree. Im about to start increasing her hunting time a little more. I am really pleased with her, she learns quick, she is a smart little pup. I will keep you guys informed on her progress. Gary

Last night Bubba Snider, Bobby Carter and his son Ben and I headed for Oaky Woods, a Wildlife Management Area (WMA) where we hunt regularly when it is open for small game. We had Annie -out of Tony Poole's Ruger, May Flower out of 5 Again and Flower and Rejet out of 6 Again and Terry Tucker's Joanie. We prefer to say they are out of the back yard. Dogs went East towards the river and it took awhile for a stike which ain't a good thing when Rejet is out there-vast real estate. May Flower and Annie are treed near the river bank. Rejet is treed 770 straight East from them and we had walked 9 tenths of a mile into them. We did not find a coon in the ladies' tree. We did find the coon in Rejet's tree after walking back West to the trucks, then driving about 15 miles, crossing the river into another county and using the garmin to put us back on his location. Whew! In the old days I would swim the river. No mo. We treed 6 coons in a hunt Saturday night and I did not win the Nt Ch cast-had a great time. We did manage to make Rejet a Grand show ch.-now you know how much that means to Ed-diddly squat lol. John keep ole Buzz in the woods. Joe you and Jr. too.

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas. Hope your hunting has been good. We have has some much needed rain and our hunting has been great. As long as you have the dog power there are plenty of coons. We ran into some hunters the other night and they asked us why we were hunting over there since they felt it was hunted out. We just said you are right, we just didn't have any place else to go try to knock one out. Like I said there are coons, if your dog will go find them. Just got off the phone with Ed. We caught up on dogs, pups and crosses. Towards the end of the call I jokingly said "Every once in a while I come up with something Ed." Ed laughed and added "Heck ya, come up with another 6 Again and I'll come down and get him!" Best of luck to all of you and your families. Best day of my life so far. Hope yours is too. Merry Christmas everybody!

just got some little christmas blue buzzard pups from a female in flora she only had 2 males he said they were huge!!and made the 2nd time cross ch nitech steber smiths blue buzzard X grch grnitech stebers southern blue penny!! makes for a nice christmas she was ready,then we got 7 inches of this snow stuff!! yuck!!!

So very sorry to learn of the sudden death of Bill "Cat Fish" Turner. Ed said he had seen Bill just hours before. They had hunted together and ate at Ed's. Bill had even discussed the moving of the date of their Bluetick hunt there in Michigan and told Ed he was going to work on that. I was fortunate to get to know Bill, having hunted with him up there and down here in Georgia. We had one of the funniest hunts I have ever been on with Bill and the train trussel. Know that we will miss him and his unique humor. This year we have lost far to many of our Bluetick Fraternity.

Just got in from a short hunt. Ended the year with a good hunt. Rain is in the forecast for the next few days so we made sure to hit the woods tonight. We saw four but only treed three of them. It was a night that everything just felt right. The dogs, all females did some good work and the coons did their part by looking. We have lost some good men this year. As I have stated on more than one occasion-I hope you are enjoying your hounds. The very best wishes for you this brand new year 2013.

Good to see so many Bluetick people in Orangeburg, SC this past weekend. I rode up with Dale Parker and Rodney Holland, two fellow Bluetickers from Georgia. David Gardin was good enough to let me sit at the Purina table so that I could address the questions about membership in the Bluetick associations. I will be prepared next year if things are the same. The turnout was great to me considering Washington, DC's best efforts to ruin the USA as we have known it. The Purina table was beside UKC"s table where things were busy all weekend-enjoyed visiting with members of their staff. Steve Fielder stopped in for a visit. I have some BBCHA membership cards for 2013 now or you can contact Danny Stevens. Most of the rest of my time was spent talking dogs, getting some new hunting gear (the duct tape on my boots ain't been working as good) and looking at Blueticks. Folks are hungry for news and a positive direction for their dogs. In the past Bluetick organizations have been there to help. I for one hope to see that again.

For the last few months I have had the pleasure to hunt Scott Phillip's Maddy female down here. She is the type hound you don't mind telling a man when he ask-what is she out of? Sir 6 Again! Maddy is en route to the rearranged Winter Classic and will be riding back to Michigan with Ed and Terry. I know Scott has missed her and will be glad to have the lady back home. I do hope all of you have had or are having a good hunting season. Now that deer season is out we try to make the most of it down here. Had a banner year last year for me, no reason to expect different results this year. Reject has been bred to May Flower. I have some young dogs and pups who will be letting me know if they want to reside here for the rest of their natural coon treeing days. Thanks and good luck everybody.

How about the rejet x hope cross?? I have a male out of this litter and he is gonna be a gooden i do believe. He has a SUPER LOUD mouth. I was wonderin how the other pups are doing and i would like to see a video of rejet treeing.

Glad you like your pup Cole. Lance,who has Hope, has told me his pup has treed Coon by himself. The male I have is pleasing me so much that this is all I am going to say about him at this point. Rejet and Hope share one very vital characteristic-DESIRE. Most people describe this as go hunting-which results in being treed by themselves more than any two dogs I have followed. Rejet to Hope is a half brother/sister cross. On the surface that means little or nothing. If however the individuals selected for such a cross display similar desireable traits and you wish to keep, build on and/or maintain this in your dogs by proper utilization and selection it is reasonable to expect these pups to do just that. he was killed on the road at the ashland spring hunt.

hey eric im not against sending him to you some this year might do him some good!!! turned him loose night ago and he put one up after 700 yards!!! he still is a real nice hound and throwing really nice young dogs!! we will be hunting a couple of them in the hunts this year!!!!whats new with you???
