TD already crashed out gettin up early tomorrow. Deans obit should be in the paper tomorrow. Pete said his mom was still around and thought he had three sisters. He was a pretty good ole guy. Talked to him early this spring getting ready to go turkey hunting. Just lived up the road from my mom and dads old place. Good luck guys on your hunting tomorrow. He doesn't really get out much usually just to run to town or have Dr. appointment. I told him the other day about startin swim races maybe he will come down and watch sometime. Is Janet any better tonight?

I hunted for 1hour and 45min and had to stop. Could not breath out there. My lungs have a long time to go. Think I will wait till it is in the eighties and down in the sixties at night. I was soaking wet. I didn't see one branch move. Did see a nice buck and my buddy seen a turkey. Getting ready to jump in the shower and then head to town.

Just finished shucking and cleaning 7 dozen of corn and putting it in the freezer. That gives me 12 dozen now and I think I can get through the winter now. Rex has never checked in. Hope he isn't lost out in the woods.

No use to over do it guy's--- it's only the first day--- I'm waitin' till this weekend, can't go anyway, have to work. Never seen any squirrels out runnin' around today, they were smart and stayed in the cool.

blue dog was out in the middle of a 180 bean feild this morning...I seen his head bob up and down 2 or 3 times....going down right before dark and put some food out.....he's an 11 pointer not a great pic. of him...worth ,yes ...but I must admit the last 2 years the fire in my belly for it is starting to cool a little[I didn't think it ever would]this fall will be my 37th season with the bow..we used nothing for growth..I talk to the state biologist a couple years back..he told me to draw deer ,to keep deer healthy,and fed year round..with the best antler growth..soy beans....so thats what I've been going with.......

That's what I've been told--soybeans--breakfast of champion bucks-- may be why we've seen some whoppers up here--- wild as a march hair--gone like the wind. Don't see as many as we did---but that don't mean nothin'. See more does than anything,and their crazy wild.

I did to Rex. Not doing to good at all today. Breathing is really bad. I guess I should not have gone yesterday in that heat. Bill won't tell us how he done hunting the other night. I guess we will have to go through CONGRESS to get it out of him.

Mike ,take it easy,its going to be to **** hot to do anything..loving woman was asleep this morning so I slipped out and took care of the hounds..got a fan blowing on them...so far theres a little breeze blowing..yesterday it was dead calm..if it takes and act of congress to find out we will never know and it will cost a hundred times more than should not to know....

Just came in from doing outside chores it is HOT! Hopefully will break after today. Mike you'd better take it easy if your feeling bad. Especially if you want to go when the weather cools. Like I said them squirrels aren't going anywhere and you have plenty of time. TD was going to Springfield today and a couple other places had roll off pipe was not looking forward to it in the heat.
