The hunt in Ar was not as good as last year, Hunted two nights and only seen 1 coon. Hunted with Gary and Lonnie Uchtman on Friday night. They are hunting a couple of nice young hounds in Wyatt and Mongo Charley. Drew out with Lonnie on Sat and seen Mongo do a real nice job on one coon. We just could not get into any coon either night. Really enjoyed talking to Lonnie, Ricky and Gary.
I am planning on going to Clinton both nights, neither the dog or myself is ready but we will donate. I imagine you have Bubba ready! is ALEX hunting or trashing this weekend?........Tim

We are planning on going tonight for sure. I don't know who is doing the handling yet. Alex tends to lay back alot when handling. With a last strike, first tree type dog, that could hurt!

Tim,
Mindy is looking bigger every day. She is definately gunna have some. She is still almost 2 weeks out yet. We have had a few "Tire kickers" calling looking for pups/dogs and what ever. I would book a few males yet. Looks like most are looking for females. We'll just have to see what she has.....................Jon

Tim,
Good luck with Ruby tonight. She deserves to be GRNITECH. That last one can be tough to get sometimes. I had 13 NITECH plus point cast wins on Mindy's mom (Melody). Only 4 that ment any thing in the end.
I've have been looking forward to Katies first comp. hunt. She has been looking good. It looks like that will happen in the next couple weeks here. We have to take the diapers off some time I guess....................Jon

I agree Mr. Tim if they mess up, they mess up. There is not alot we can do about somethings. I just think more people should tell the whole truth, and not blow a bunch of smoke!! JMO
Just got in from the Clinton sat night hunt.Ruby scored on 1 coon by herself, part of another and treed one about 5 min after the hunt was over. She won her cast but ended up second place Nt Ch and still need 1 more. Hunted with some real fine gentlemen, a good walker male and a good english male.We did a lot of split treeing and listened to some real tree-dogs.......Tim
Tim, I've seen reports on 3 of the pups out of Jude X Turk. Do you know anything about the other 2 males and who has them? My 2 females are getting big, we've let them run free during the day a lot. They are gonna be a handful - into everything and no fear of anything. Jude is in heat again and I'm trying to make up my mind on finishing her or breeding her. Whats your 2 cents on that.
Nt CH Raymond's Tree Thunpin Brandi was just bred to John II. This female is a hard hunting pull pressure tree dog, that is quick on both ends and will finish to Grand in the near future......Tim

Guy Houx just dropped off NT CH Little Lou (2 wins) to be bred to John II. Lou is an all around nice hound that will get treed and stay. She also has a BFOS.

Sounds like John II is keeping busy! Zeke is doing pretty good. Uses both chop and short bawl (Bellar) on tree ... New pictures on my thread. Ruby is a real nice female. I probably should have tuned her up a little before hunting her Friday nite. She rarely messes up like that. I was kinda shocked to see that grinner, thought I was sitting pretty good before that happened.She came back Saturday and did her thing right. Not bad for a dog that doesn't get hunted during the week much.

Ruby looked real good on friday night Grubbed up to bad tracks and had the meat. Also treed a coon right after the hunt ended. She should finish real soon if she keeps that up.
Had a good hunt last night, Johnny Yoder took Kit (1st and 2nd UKC ) and a couple of pups and I took Ruby. We treed 3 singles and the dogs looked good,. Jeff Grant called while we were in the woods and met us a little later. Jeff turned Fanny Mae loose with Kit and Cleo, we treed another single. Had a real good hunt and the dogs looked good, Fanny is a real nice young hound that will light up a tree.......Tim
