Have you had enough snow yet? you guys are getting hit hard,we only have around 20 inches.freezing ice here tonight a few trucks jack knifing on I-75 tonight and cars going in the ditch.
more snow coming sunday.I`m sure your tired of plowing.I had a good talk to Billy Kooser and Jim Bartley today sure glad hearing from you guys,we all three have one thing in common, we all went through some kind of surgery on our knee or like Billy foot and ankle.i hope we all a speedy recovery would be neet to get out for a hunt in a few months together.Shane i`ll be talking to you.Dennis,I`ll try to give you a call.

Hows Big Jim doing? would you think about coming to Ashland this year.bring the big unit and put him in some hunts.if you have any updated pictures send them my way.I think one of his littermates will be at Ashland this year.

Wayne liked Stingers brother better than Stinger and said he had a better mouth and sure had a nice loud ringing chop on him.only two in the litter,I would have liked to see if he would have made the coon dog Stinger did.I think I have a heavy Diamond Jim Bred female lined up to breed to the Ellis Blue jim semen.were just talkin now.I want to hunt with her and see how she looks in the timber.it would be later this summer if we do make the cross.I have a female off of Legend that I like real well to.if she turns out it shoulld be a good one on EBJ.

Nice pictures Mike,Slew sure has some legs under him.what kind of nose does he have and does he pack up good ?most of his littermates are very independent with cold nose and can move a track.this should end up being a outstanding cross.it seems the half brother sister crosses work real well.when you get time can you set him up on a bench and get me a picture .he looks like he would be around 27 inches tall in the picture.

I just wanted to say hi.David and kimberly came to visit this weekend,real nice visit.David and I hunted Friday and Saturday nights.It was real good hunting with David.We took Cindy Friday night and made 2 trees and 2 coons.Saturday we took Cindy and David's old Moon. They got on a bad bad track but finally got him up.I sure glad ole Moon was there to help Cindy on a real bad one.It was a lot of fun.Dixie and her pups are doing well.I have them all sold except the 1 my wife don't know I am keepig.

Dave,I can only imagine how Big Jim will react when he`s cut loose.I bet he`ll have one treed in minutes.you know those Stinger Hounds seem to really turn into super hounds with a little age on them.they sure are balanced and most have a cold nose on them and can move a track.I`ve heard some real hard tree hounds out of Stinger.Big Jim can get with it.
Glynn,your the first to do a half sister cross on stinger off spring .plus you doubled up Sadie Mae.(Turbo Blue`s mother.)
keep me posted how they turn out and if they have any thing that sticks out good or bad traits.I like the next cross you have planned for her.it sure is fun hunting with our sons. I know my son really enjoys it.

I went to see my Doctor today and said everything was looking good in my knee and he said it sure looked rough when he started the procedure back on jan16th.the MRI didn`t show half of what was wrong with it.I know one thing I would recommend him.I`m off for work for another two weeks ,he wants to give it plenty of time to heal up.it hasn`t felt this good in a few years.

I had a good conversation with Dennis Upson today, good talking to you .I was on the phone a good bit this afternoon.Its nice talking hounds.I have one cross I`m planning on making this year Tree Daddy and Fly again.I would love to get all females.I did make my mind up on letting two of my legend pups go.I have one male out of Legend and Super Fly .1 female out of Legend and Lou.if anybody is interested contact me SS and Performance eligible.I need to get down on hounds this would give all the young ones a better chance to make it.good prospects.

Matt, thanks for meeting me with the two hounds! I appreciate it, Both of them met all the others here and no problems, good manners! I will have both of them with me in the morning looking for Cat or Coyote. Hopefully get a cat. I'll bring the male along and walk him around a little in the cedar swamps and get him used to the truck and other hounds. I think the Roxy dog is ready to wrestle around with a fresh kill and get started. She is active. Has she seen any game?

Good to see you made it back safe.I want to THANK YOU for giving my hounds a chance up north.I really feel bad about the scars on your Male`s ears.I had him in the lot with the other pups and he looks like he was on the wrong end.I`m sure it will build some character with him. these pups are very bold and it wouldn`t surprise me if he starts in a few times out.
