Samething I was thinking. If I was looking for a pup our conversation would end at he or she is not Super Stakes.

I dont have anything against the SS Hounds, Just dosent make alot of diference, to me because Im not a Competition hunter.
If your a Walker Man, Ive got a Reproducer here, that would probably make you some winning pups, but he is just a Single Registered Coondog, and nobody wants that. But Me, LOL

Good Luck with your Competiton hunting, and Thank you, its people like you, that keep our sport alive, If no one did what you do, It would probably be Illegal to hunt at nite with a Hound. Thanks, My Friend.

good luck with your walker sounds like you may have a nice one...

If it has to be SS or a performance pup for you to buy it thats fine,it's your money.Personally I don't care if they are and if I saw a good grade dog and wanted it i'd buy it no problem.
I'm 43 now, started coonhunting when I was around 14 or 15 and got into it for the fun of it with my buddy's.We enjoyed going out to the woods and hunting. Do people get into coonhunting now days just for the fun of it or do they get into it thinking of all the money they could possibly win?And nothing wrong with wanting to try and get a little of your money back you've got invested, but I sure hope it's not just for the money part of it.Thats sad if it is.

I'd just as soon have a GOOD bred one with a lottery ticket tied to it's collar, my chances would be about as good. LOL.

if you wont settle for anything less than a nice dog, and that is what you got and he/she is superstaked, you have a good chance of winning it all. but the great thing about it, you feel pretty satisfied with 2 casts wins and most after that is just icing on the cake. they dont have to be ss for me, but that is just because i hunt blueticks and there just aint that many ss sires. ill have 2 at the fall ss though this year, and i feel we have about as good of chance as any.
