I agree, the intent may be good in all of these restrictions, it should be most alarming to EVERYONE just how fragile our freedoms are becoming. We should ALL remember these times when we vote. More important than anything else is not to forget those who would choose to limit or curtail our freedom and rights whatever the reasoning might be. I encourage everyone to vote and vote wisely. That's why at least in Michigan this is not based on one iota of scientific or medical data.

Kayaking is legal. Fishing from a motorized boat is not. The virus can't tell the difference in a kayaker and a fisherman. Last I checked the Kayakers were way more social than the fishermen as the fisherman want to be left alone to catch fish. That was strictly a power grab.

Last I checked the virus can't tell if you are buying seeds in a 5000 square foot building vs a 4999 square foot building. She outlawed selling plants and seeds for anything over 5000 square feet. Really?

But she allows lottery sales and liquor stores to be open but you better not be caught fishing in a boat with a motor.

Hospital’s are getting $39,000 for every corona virus patient take that away would be a lot less cases.

Tar , please site a source for this. Work in medicine and this is the first time i have heard this. I know you like to throw around your opinion on here, but could you please show some factual evidence for your claim.

Have a friend who works in hospital billing. The 39000 is customary fees put out by medicare or CMS. Doesn't matter if it's covid or the old man's friend " pneumonia " if in ICU and intubated. The 39000 is at the top of the fee. Non ICU around 13000, dosen't matter covid or not.

True and for COVID-19 patients they will be paid this plus 20% more than usual Medicare coverage thru the CARES Act.

So on the hospital thing. Their big issue is the uninsured with Covid but the stimulus package pays for all uninsured Covid care. https://revcycleintelligence.com/ne...id-19-treatment

So if you are uninsured and go in for the flu the hospital does have an incentive to say that you were "suspected covid", same for pneumonia, diabetic ketoacidosis and things.

Of course now that they have new guidelines for cause of death many states are counting all people that die with or even suspected Covid as a covid death regardless of true cause. I mean the patient died with a gunshot wound to the head but happened to be Covid positive and it is counted as a Covid death.

I have a problem with that.

State's/hospitals have a new term now, "probable" cause of death or "probable" cases of Covid 19. They can count everyone that "might" have had Covid 19. That is why the #'s keep going up. They are just going back and counting more people. Everyone that dies at home or in a nursing home now, probably had Covid 19 and gets counted.

When the dust settles and election is over......lol
They are 100% gonna look into how Hospitals scammed the Govt. out of $$$$$Billions.
Millions spent on ventilators that were never needed.

It's prob not gonna end well for all those that did.

Oh my goodness Mr Broken Back, they said on TV this morning that Michigan is slowly opening back up and that some outdoor activities are now being allowed. Is hunting one of them? They also said that some companies would now be allowed to go back to work. Will the UKC offices start opening back up?

Actually, it is like your sister or a good friend getting pregnant so you start using birth control. It won't help your sister or good friend but it might help you. I have seen the shutting the barn door after a horse gets out anology used also. In reality, shutting the barn door won't keep the horse that got out in but it will keep the rest of the horses in. And you don't need to wear a mask if you can't leave your house.

It sounds like the protests in Michigan helped the boaters, fishermen and gardeners but the hunters didn't protest loud enough.

No hunting unless you have a special nuisance permit and thats skeptical but you can now fish only 2 at a time in the same boat, buy garden seed , you will have to ask the folks at UKC about when they plan on opening . Ps my ticket has been recalled.

Wrong. It's a Michigan thing. In Louisiana, we can ride and sleep together. Just not at the same time.
