Since he started this post, then can't we assume that he knows the guy's did the wrong thing to begin with? Everyone thinks that they can just learn the rules as they go along but then they want to get on the internet when they get taught a lesson.

So it’s my fault that I wanted to try my first Night Hunt and their dog got a undeserved win? I didn’t think it was right, that’s why I posted. Who should I of asked the judge that was scoring his own dog? Lol ... Kinda hard to take all these rules in at once, never have been to a hunt before so how am I supposed to know how it works? I’m just trying to learn

Don't be like Tarbaby or Dave and get all upset. You already knew that it wasn't right so you didn't need to ask. And yes you should have told the person doing it that you didn't think that it was right. Does it really do any good to get on the forum complaining?

I just got on here to ask a couple questions. It was my first hunt. I didn’t think that is was right so I asked? Didn’t want to make the judge or the other cast member mad at the new guy. I have nobody else to ask. I thought these forums were to help eachother out.
Yes, your right next time I will just ask the “hunting judge”.
If you didn’t want to read or reply to my “complaining thread” you didn’t have too 😋

What they did wasn't right and they knew it. You win and you loose, go have a good time and make some life long friends. Trust me your dog doesn't care.

Oh my goodness, I do like to read and reply. That is why I do it. And surely you feel better now that you have complained. Isn't that why people "complain"? It makes you feel better to "get it off your chest".

Cheated

Bluetick you got cheated son. Move on, find another club & study the rules. I remember my first hunt in 1986. My dog treed with 30 seconds remaining in the hunt. Me and the hunting judge only ones left in cast and that man help me look the tree and found the coon that beat his dog. I was 16 years old and will always remember that guys integrity...keep trying. Its not all negative but be prepared for negative experiences in the competition side of the game...trust me...

Man listen there is gonna be hunts that you get burnt on. But there are gonna be a whole lot of better hunts and meeting good honest people than bad hunts. Even though the bad hunts is the ones you get mad at and a lot of the times remember more because you sit and think about it more. Learn what you can go to the next hunt. Most people on here don't know all the rules either. If you have questions ask that's what the forums are for.

My question is, did anyone on this cast have plus points? It kinda sounds like there wasn't any. Therefore no winner as you can't win with minus points in the UKC. Either there was cheating or no one on this cast knew the rules, and it wouldn't be the first time that it could of been either one.

Was my First and probably my Last Night Hunt. Just wasn’t fair to my dog.

Buddy this is like any other sport your gonna have some cheaters. But most of your cast will be legit. your gonna lose more than you will win until you and your dog know the rules and the game. I've got 3 pieces of advise.
1. learn the rules
2. learn the rules
3. learn the rules
If you do these 3 things you'll have more fun and you'll win a few. And don't be afraid to speak up. I don't know why a couple of these guys are being so harsh with ya but just sweep it under the rug sometimes you gotta have thick skin and big shoulders in this game.
