You better not back down from the rumble, I am counting on you to show everyone a good time. Hunt at night, cook up some catfish, bologna, whatever during the day, and tell some tall tales. Man, that sounds like a lot of fun and as Richard said " these guys want to see what a Tarbaby looks like". You got to go, I will be cheering for you and Fred. I still am going only thing I got to plan around is if granny has pups she looks like she might have a few her being 11 yrs old I ain't going no place till I make sure she can take care of them around the first of next month got two hunts this weekend so I am busy getting everything together won't have time to visit much.

1. Need dates
2.how many is coming
3.how much fish to bring
4. Jessie you can ride with me Mrs tar will have to take care of the puppys.

Planning on coming to hunt next week,I have nothing to hunt. All I have is a eleven month old pup n she is in season. See you next week maybe tag along with a cast? JesseJ

Your description describes many of us (old, fat, crippled coon hunter ). I think we ought to start a Tarbaby class in all competition hunts, then all of us old fat crippled coonhunters would compete on equal ground. Hope all you guys have a safe and enjoyable hunt. Dave

Being serious Dave never thought there would be a day that I didn't walk a 100 yrds ahead of everybody my mind still wants to but my body says no two other kcs have started senior class hunts some a little pricey but they are finding a market for one the younger people are not participating and the ones that do want to hunt the deep and alone type and run to them like they are on meth. So a good fellowship hunt like the rumble is money well spent for us in the over the hill gang lol.

Richard the young folks say we are cheating when we have them. We can't help it we actually train our dogs to tree coons and hang on to their points no goose egg winners for us old folks lol. But them young folks just want to cash a check no matter how they get it 🎃

You looking for a cabin or what? I would love to have you at the camper but we are full! I'm going to stay at lake Merrisach and take my boat to hunt some out of. You can go places no one else goes to, but then you have to walk.
