So would UKC be keeping track of $$ won? Like a lifetime total? Or would the grntch's just be showing up for the dollar alone?

Tar guess UKC isn't any different now than pkc huh?

Gr. Nt. have some where to go now

they have always had somewhere to go, when you finish your dog you don't have to lock them in the pen. Like I said before there was a cast of grands at most of our hunts last year for no money, it's just a givin round here if you finish your dog you serve as hd or moh or guide open or ntch. Casts, or help in the kitchen.

No keeping track at this time and maybe never. This is just simply to get more people and grands involved at the local level.

I don't guess you are not going to have to take a test to be a moh anymore either just change the rules as we go what about all the rules votes at autum oaks this year it's all about $$$ now no consideration about what the club has to go through to make it happen most the guys that want this crap are the ones that walk in 10 minutes before draw , hunt , get their winnings and leave sombody else to clean up the mess. If they don't win they won't even come back to the club most of the time. Some of the higher ups need to get out of the office more it ain't as much fun as they think it is somtimes.

Ps: the day they make me award a Grntch for treeing a possum that's the day I am out. Oh crap I guess they have already done that lol !

The money thing is on the side. You still can't win with Ukc without plus points. The money is between the club and the hunters.

I don't guess paying the grands is the problem but ch. & grch. Are scratched for off game boys, period! And plus points to be cast winner! The **** rules don't change just because you have a cash prize! Bullhockey!

Will they let me thrash him and still get paid? They can do it either way, it really doesn't make me any difference. I want to be able to continue to hunt my grand in Ukc when it's finished. If It was up to me there would be a program in place to do it and it wouldn't be this. i guess they leave it up to the club but I would vote they need to have plus to win. If not pay the money to the cast that do have plus. Or let the club keep it.

There is a way the slam hunts all I am waiting on is them to progress enough to were I don't have to drive so far to them. And they make the club a pocket full of money. But here is a thought y'all want to hunt grands have the club put on a grands only hunt that frees up your club members to guide $100 entry 16 or 20 dog hunt ukc gets their percentage club gets a cut rest goes to the final 4 hunt it off or split be a nice fund raiser for the club I got a Grntch I would be interested somthing like that my self jmo.

Sounds like this is just a way for some people to hunt grands at their local club with a chance at performance money and some extra money. I have no idea why anyone would be against this it is just another option for a club. If your club doesn't want to do this they don't have to. It will work for some and not for others I for one like the idea of having some options to get more people involved in a regular weekend hunt. We are going to have them anyway so why not have some club flexibility.

You might be missing the point the same way ukc did when they created the slams as a way to let people hunt their grands. I don't want to pay a big entry and win lots of money. I want to be able to go to my local club or surrounding clubs and enjoy a family atmosphere. Hunt in the hunt and enjoy myself and visit with friends I haven't seen in a while, none of which will be entering a hunt with a large entry fee.

Joey $50 entry I don't care what I think these guys are wanting is to keep getting their performance points after they are granded all I am getting at a lot of clubs don't have the extra help to deal with the grands and put on a regular hunt to. So have a grands only hunt then you got the help you get the performance points win you some money help the club put on three grands only hunts a year and one slam hunt not many clubs would be hurting for money the more money the better prizes then you get more hunters see what I mean jmo.

I don't think anyone

Or I mean some are not getting this. The money thing is on the side. Its a prize. What ever the club wants to do with it is how it is paid out. If a club says treeing a possum is the winner thats who gets it. If the feel the one with the least amount of minus points gets it then thats it.

Clubs should do it for all cast not just grands. Yellow win slip doesn't do anything for me that's why I went to hunt the other KC

Nobody is saying they can't. I guess the money that the club was gonna receive can be paid out.

Ok bout to go proof but here it is! The club wants to draw more dogs and grandnites don't benefit from the avg. Ukc night hunt, they have hit their ceiling! Ukc isn't going to keep track of earnings, that's too much work for $2 a dog! So why do you need them? What benifit is it to the club, dogs or hunters? Just more money the club doesn't get and more paperwork the club has to do!! So just have a non-sanctioned money hunt. Figure out what your grandnite hunters are willing to spend on an average entry and that's what it'll be, use whatever kc's rules you can agree on. Club makes more hunters get paid more!

Why is everyone so against this. Back years ago we hunted a cast of grands or 2 at every hunt and it would of been nice to have this option. Instead of always looking for the next young wonder just keep hunting the winner you already have and make some extra change.
