Here is the pledge, It reads Endorse the nominee.

That is the pledge Trump signed at a later date after he failed to commit at the debate. Can you verify this to be the same pledge signed by Cruz? If so, please include your source.

It was one pledge for all, the one he refused was verbal at first debate.

What Trump supporters don't comprehend is the difference between the terms "endorse", and "support". Let me give you an example. At one time(not now)there was a chance I would support Trump come Election Day, but there was absolutely NEVER a chance I would endorse Trump. Support means you vote for him. Endorse means you tell others to vote for him. I at one time may have voted Trump, but you would NEVER see a Trump sign in my yard. That's the difference.

Here's the text of the pledge which was signed by all of the Republican candidates:

I (name) affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for president of the United States I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is. I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.

All they gotta do is Google Cruz lies and it pops it right up. After the video of him being booed off stage because he's a looser. Really enough about Cruz though. This is not about him. Eventually yall gotta get over being wrong and voting for a looser. I mean it happens. I'm not mad at ya but get over it. Cruz lost. Nothing can be done about it.

As a liberal, I'm so mad that Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, etc...lost, I can't stand it!! GA busted me again! LOL! Why was Cruz at the convention? I also like Trump's slow turn from his conservative SC nominees. Now he says the list he used to rope in conservative votes, was just a guide. LOL! I saw the story today that Peter Theil said Trump would like to nominate him. LOL! Would that surprise anyone? After all the great American conservative(Trump). LOL! Had him speak at the convention. The great American con artist strikes again!!

After some browsing around on the good ol' interweb, I found several sites that state Cruz did in fact sign the same pledge as has been shown in several previous comments here. I did notice, the link to the Hannity story appeared to be the exact same story that was repeated on various sites. I don't know where the story originated, but I noticed at least one typo/error in the article, something very odd from a supposed professional source. I also viewed several videos of folks interviewing Ted about this very subject. He used the word "support" in all the videos I found and, in fact, the word "support" was the word used in the live debate. In fact, Politifact states they have not been able to locate any documentation of that pledge with Ted's signature on it. Now, all that being said, if in fact Ted signed the petition pictured in the link provided above, I am more than willing to admit he broke his promise to "endorse" Trump.

I really don't see how this brings anything to the conversation. It has already been pointed out that "support" comes in many forms. Just because a person sees "support" one way, doesn't mean everyone would agree. Now, "endorse" is more definitive. A person can "support" in either word or deed, an "endorsement" can only be made verbally or in writing.

Simple Definition of endorse

: to publicly or officially say that you support or approve of (someone or something
From the Webster Dictionary

Cruz: “Well, listen, I pledged at the outset I will support the Republican nominee, whoever it is … when I give my word for something, I follow through and do what I said.”

I heard today where Trump had strengthened his pro-life stance, appointing Marjorie Dannenfelser to head up a pro-life coalition, vowing to de-fund Planned Parenthood, and seek to put limits on abortions after 20 weeks!!! This is huge!!! I will have to admit, this will very much improves my opinion of Trump. He evidently truly has had a change of heart and abandoned many of his former liberal ways. I hope it continues. I said on another thread that I thought he had potential and that potential depends on the people surrounding him. If he keeps this up, I might get one of those yard signs!!! Yes, I still like Cruz, just look at how he's going to bat to keep Obama from giving away the internet to the U.N., but the pro-life issue is near and dear to my heart and I would love to see some progress in that area.

I'm also a sore loser, and a Cruz cry baby, so I must have voted for Cruz. But then again I'm from Ohio so I must have voted for Kasich. LOL! I'm just to ashamed to admit who I voted for. LOL!

GA, I've made it clear! I love blueticks! I also have said many, many times who I voted for. Now however I like the guessing game. So I'll just give you some clues. First clue is I voted for someone who didn't give money to Hillary's presidential campaign fund. I'll give more clues later. LOL!
