I'm a lucky one. I met my wife coon hunting. We both love dogs and hunt together. I've got an amazing wife.

I've been married to the same woman almost 25 years.

She has been a jewel.

I mostly hunt all I want.

But if she plans something, or there is a family deal going on, I'm there.

"All ya gotta do"......is find one that has an even more ridiculous and expensive hobby than coon hunting. Mine is into horses and we just celebrated 20 years. You don't get that much time for murder!!!!
I tell everyone that I'm her "first husband", that always gets some funny responses.

Agreed. These words are 100% truth. However, sometimes I feel that I'm closer to God when in the woods and hunting. There's a fine line there.

Most of the time I don't know I'm going hunting til I'm in the woods and hunting. Regardless of the weather, if I'm at home and the kids and wife are good, I'll go hunting. Many nites I don't turn loose til 10:00.

But I'm not complaining, I'm just glad God gives me the opportunity and health to go. I've been married 10 years so far. Lol

Third wife

Married my first real girl friend that I met when I was 19. She was a city girl and a lot of fun but I still hunted hard. I have coon hunted since I was 11. We got married when I was 21. I hunted hard through the whole marriage. Had a daughter when I was 27 and We were divorced when I was 31. I hunted very hard and she became close to a co worker and he was a city boy. It was very hard on me with a 3 year old. I dated around and still hunted very hard also. BUT met another city girl and she was a blast and made the dreadful decision to get married after 6 months of dating. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID ! Divorced Shortly after. Met a country girl a few years later and dated a while I think almost 3 years. Decided to try it again and have been happily married for 16 years. Still hunt hard and make sure I participate I what she likes also. Now I am 58 and could not be happier. 2 Beautiful granddaughters and all is well.

Depends on what you mean argument with my wife about dogs. I had to take a divorce with my wife but I'm pretty sure it was not about my hunting or my dogs.

Been with mine 20 yrs now. And she still hates it as much today as she did in the beginning how ever she don't try and stop me. So I do take time for her. As long as I remind her she is important I only hear her growl once in a while.

I should probably marry mine then cause if I don’t hunt for couple of day she starts saying she feels bad for the dogs and I need to hunt them.

My beautiful bride and I have been married 55 yrs. Absolutely the greatest wife God ever created. We were 17 when we got married, gets better every day. O yes she has hunted with me and done dog chores, takin dogs to the vet. And she is still smokin.

Been together 26 years married 24... I just remind her regularly that she'd leave b4 the dog's! I guess the thought of getting her mail at a different address isn't pleasant... got a purty good un guys! For 15 1/2 years while I traveled for work she fed, watered, and shoveled crap for bear and coon dog's only to see me head to the woods to bait or hunt when in town. She was the primary care giver for our daughter and never shirked the task. God has blessed me and my dogs
