I got a 1912 with 32 inch barrel and remington model 29 with 32 inch.

Those are nice shotguns. The 1912 with the 32 inch barrel should be a good shooter. I've seen very few model 29's shoot real well with the 2-2-10's. That doesn't mean yours won't shoot the 2-2-10's good. You just have to pattern the shotguns you can get your hands on, and see how they like those 2-2-10's.

In the winchester 1200 , what barrel type full or modified? I heard with a little back boring those 1200 blows holes in cards.

You want a Full choke barrel on what ever model shotgun you get. When I mention "Modified", I'm talking about the complete barrel being non-factory Modified to shoot a specific shot size, also called an Outlaw match shotgun. I don't mean a Shotgun barrel marked with a Modified choke marking. A factory shotgun barrel marked with a Modified choke marking will most likely be more of an open choke constriction than a factory Full choke barrel. If you find the right barrel on a Winchester model 1200 it won't need to be back bored. Back boring doesn't always help a factory barrel shoot a tighter pattern. Not all barrels will stack the pellet shot for a good pattern.

So are there official rules for card shooting matches or do clubs make up their own rules, distances, targets, ammo requirements, etc. ?

Whom ever is putting the match on (read funding it) sets the rules. Rules on distance, barrel length, choke size, scopes allowed or not, shotgun classes, ammo used, what the prizes are, shoot offs/prize splits and such are usually on the flyers for the match or posted up and told to you when you get to the match. I don't know of any "official' rules that governs every match, though most are basically ran about the same in a given area.
