STARS AND STRIPES
Only one flag means anything at all to this U.S. citizen. While I have no problem with the confederate flag, I'm not willing to go to war or die for it. Had I lived in that time, probably so. As for the RED, White, and Blue I am more than willing and ready to defend her at any cost, including dying. IT'S the symbol of freedom that allows each of us to make the choice to fly and display other flags if we want, but I personally can't understand why we want to. Like Mike, my blood boils when I see her disrespected, and each time I hear our anthem played, I think of all who have stood up and fought so hard to defend those rights we have. Yep...can bring a tear to an old man's eye it can.
OLD GLORY FOR ME! She has been through much, and always came out flying high and proud. I'll display her at my place with PRIDE. The rest....well they have their places in history, but I live in the present....most times. lol
