Hey CSnowgren I seen that u feed a added supplement with ur Diamond Ea when hunting hard what kind of supplement do u feed? Im feeding Diamond Ea Im hunting 4 &5 nights a week hes 12mons old .

I know,I know dog food talk again.Been feeding Extreme Athlete for 2 months and not happy.Outta the 3 dogs on it 2 are skinny.Dogs are worm free and get feed 5 cups aday.Seems like since Diamond switch to the new super food with kale,blueberries, and pumkin it not as good.At 40 bucks a bag i think the dogs should look better.Lets here it.

A dog in shape should be skinny. Are they performing well? Hard to say without seeing a couple pictures?

The trouble with these dogfood post is that most people that always get on here and make a reply about what they feed and how good it is don't hunt hard enough to give an honest opinion. Some of the dogfood in some of these replys don't cut it. If you want to know how good any dog food is, just feed it and hunt 6 or 7 nights a week for 4 to 6 hours a night. Do it for 3 weeks and then get on here and make a reply. Bet a lot of these replys will be different.

I have never fed Ol Roy. I couldn't say anything good or bad about it. But I do know that a lot of the foods out there will work just fine for the average hunter and I know for a fact a lot of them won't when you are hunting as I described above.

For the most part, just try the feed you want and see if it works for your hunting style.

Myself, I try to support the company that supports us coonhunters moer than any other. JMO]

Myself, I would not feed Ol Roy for personal reasons. But like you, I know of a man who hunted as hard as anyone out there who fed nothing but Ol Roy, and, lol , his dogs looked just fine on it.

Well I only hunt about 3 nights a week so my dogs should look good.Im not gonna post not pics but to me if I can see there hips and ribs at all there too skinny.Im just tired of paying top dollar for dog food and my dogs look like there on Ol Roy.Im ready to stop feeding the grain free stuff.

I was once told Diamond Extreme Athlete is manufactured in a different facility then other Diamond dog foods. Is this true?
