I don't agree with this.......
I use to feel the same way, not so much anymore.
I have a good friend that hunts as hard as anyone, usually 5-7 nights a week, 5-6 hours on an average night, sometimes all night. He has fed 'Ol Roy for over 20 years, and just the regular not the Hi Pro. His dogs look great, plenty of energy and drive, he just had his old dog die back in Sept. and he was almost 15 years old and fed nothing but 'Ol Roy his entire life including when he was a puppy.
I have had really good results from Purina products. Just my thoughts. [/QUOTE
I have never fed Ol Roy. I couldn't say anything good or bad about it. But I do know that a lot of the foods out there will work just fine for the average hunter and I know for a fact a lot of them won't when you are hunting as I described above.
For the most part, just try the feed you want and see if it works for your hunting style.
Myself, I try to support the company that supports us coonhunters moer than any other. JMO]
I agree, that is another reason I like Purina, they support our sport.
I fed Ol Roy years ago, didn't know if it was a good food or not.
Never was happy with the results from any Diamond products........including Extreme Athlete.
