Question

WILL THIS 100% ACCURATE COONDOG BE AT SOUTHERN REDBONE DAYS ???

I'D BE WILLIN' TO SPEND AN EXTRA NIGHT TO SEE HIM PERFORM IF I COULD GO ALONG ON HIS CAST.

PERSONALLY, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A 100% ACCURATE DOG.

ok mr barry where did I say my dog was 100 percent accurate?my dog is well trained when he trees I believe him ,maybe its a squrill or he just missed but I have put a lot of time into this hound and he don't tree just to tree..and I would like you to answer the ? where did I say 100 percent accurate?...I steer clear of trouble mr. barry so you will never see my dog hunt...

if I walk in to 3 trees ,I expect to see 3 coons but I would have no complaint if I just seen 2 out of 3....now if every thing I said about Red is true then I must have a pretty darn good hound?.......thank you

Tree dogs

Things have changed in the places I have to hunt these days. The coons are thin. A dog has to hunt very hard to get under one. We also have a lots of den trees here. I may hunt four hours and only tree one or two DEN trees, no coon seen. That being said. My dogs tree HARD and they think they have a coon on every tree they make. They don't know that I know better than that. They miss more times than I like. But they do there best to please me. And that makes me happy with them.
Lets just keep doing what we are doing and get better hounds for OUR efforts. We are on the right track guys. Good luck to all.

PLEASE EXPLAIN. THAT SOUNDS LIKE 100% ACCURATE TO ME. BUT LIKE YOU SAID, ... YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT.

PERHAPS YOU MEANT NO SLICK-TAILS. MY BAD. ONLY A FOOL WOULD SAY THEIR DOG NEVER MISSES. ANY MAN THAT WON'T SHOW HIS DOG HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE. AND YOU ARE CORRECT, ... IF EVERYTHING YOU SAY ABOUT RED IS TRUE, THEN YOU MUST HAVE A PRETTY DARN GOOD HOUND.

I'LL BE HUNTIN' THE ALL-RED RQE AT SOUTHERN, ... MAYBE WE'LL DRAW THE SAME CAST.

witch is why I am extremely proud of my hound ,I showed him his first coon,he is 30 months old now,he is the only dog I hunt and like ive already posted he is well trained....when you get your new dog trained just like you want ,im sure you will be as proud of yours as I ,of mine...and if you get your hound trained where it just will not slick [very rarly] I wouldn't tell anybody cause you might get called a lier.....good luck with your new dog and godbless

Bobby, it sounds like you took the easy route. You have to work twice as hard, be tuff and thick skinned if you are going to hunt a Redbone.

she hunted sc swamps last week it does not bother her to tree in water or go hunting in the water I can give names of people that hunted with her and saw her tree coons some said first red dog they seen tree a coon some said first coon they ever killed to a redbone solo some even ask if she was for sale NO she is not for sale
looking for good mouthed dogs to cross her on she locates quick but will check a tree
looking for one that will not leave whether its the first dog on the tree or the last do not want to breed to a silent dog or one to proud to back a dog on a coon

I think Bobby hunted with some stud dogs last year out there. So I guess he already knows a little about some of them.

Hmmmm.....None of those 3 will be there this year? In the last 20 yrs, if you were in the Top 24 and had $100 won, then you got to hunt.

ok here goes thanks for all the help guys but I really don't know why I picked Boone?? he is a good dog I know as others do his owner seems to be a straight shooter as others know.. I just hope we can land the pups into trainers hands not just hunters but TRAINERS and owners that will pay up their papers and keep them all in order....

here goes another thought that crossed my warped mind if all goes well with this cross and she stays healthy I told corey gruver he could take her and raise a litter from her then I may move her or place her to be bred to other dogs until she passes away so she may never be back at my house again as far as me carrying her somewhere to be bred and paying stud fees and raising pups probably not gonna happen

I do have other females to be bred in time also got a couple of moses females my dad has a female not sure of her breeding but i'll be hunting a 2yr old out of her some this yr and I also have a female out logan Wilson's old gr nt roy
