Lots of questions about the new Ultra, the most commen are;

Is it as bright as the Sunfire?

Yes it is

Is the spot the same size as the Sunfire?
The exact same.

Where is the color led?
Its on the bottom. Its a small piece about as big around as a nickle and a 1/2 inch long.

How big is the head?
Its a small head at about 2 1/4 inches long and less than 2 inches across.

Is the head light weight?
Yes it is. Its 4 1/2 oz making it one of the lightest aluminium heads on the market.

What kind of beam does the color have?
Its a flood, plenty bright enough to walk with and covers the whole tree for shinning eyes.

Hey guys I've always been a big supporter of sunspot/sunfire I've used them since they first hit the market a few years ago. They have always Been top quality and easy to deal with on the customer service side of things. I don't really have a bad thing to say. I loved my sunspot. Then I loved my sunfire. And now I have been using my sunfire ultra since walker days and I must say it's the best light on the market. It's low is low and it's bright is bright! The color floor is awesome and the new design cut a lot of weight out as well as eliminates the shadow in the halo the old sunfire had. At walker days my hunting partner bought a new belt light from one of the other brands. And my whole ultra is only about 5oz heavier than just his head on his new light. Can't go wrong with these lights guys!!

joey, just wondering if you sent my knob out for the switch? I took one off my Sunspot for now, and when I get the other should I put a drop of loc-tite on the screw when fastening it back on? Thanks
