Jason, you're the only one she has to satisfy and don't let anyone slse tell you different.

I agree wit GA DAWG, I prefer a dog to hunt out 30/45 minutes and come back if not struck. You can hunt dogs like almost anywhere. I hate straight line running dogs because they just run until they cross a good track, they miss SO MANY tracks that a dog that is truly hunting an area will get.

Dog A , We are breeding them to tree coon and have the coon when we get there. Dog A is what is winning the big ones. Deep and alone.

i love dogs that start hunting when you unsnap them.. I hate dogs that run in like 900 before they start hunting.. But i love a dog that will go the mile or 2 if he has to to get the meat.. VERY few of them dogs exist. I had a plott that could tree a coon in 3 yards but if he had to he would go over a mile to find ricky..

yes you wonder how much of that territory is wasted . Is the dog just running for the purpose of running or is he actually hunting ?

Yep I'll take fast and first over deep and lonely.Lately my dog will not come back and man does that piss me off.Theres way too many roads and houses around her to hunt deep every drop.Deep to me is 1 mile or more.Theres time when that's needed but not often. My dogs go further than that they better be parked under a coon or there gonna have a knot on there head when I find them.

Dog A - Im young enough to keep up, and that's one thing that will never change about coon huntin, you NEVER know what you are about to get into.
