No luck at the Classic, but what a great week of fun with some old friends and new ones as well... I really want to Thank everyone that came by with kind words and well wishes for me and BAWL.. I want to say a special thank you to CHUCK HENSON who took care of my hounds at his place all week and treated us like family. Thanks as well to Doug "FUZZY PANTIES" Nester, (HA!) and Justin Earls for their friendship and hopiltality and lastly to all the folks of BATESVILLE for a super event. Congrats to all the winners and especially my friend Randall Powell and Jack for their BIG WIN.

Hunted Chaser at the PKC truck hunt this weekend.... NO LUCK..... Chaser got out of pocket and we found him treed an hour after the hunt was over. It was a great experience and more fun than most hunts I have been at. With that being said I want to congradulate the ONLY 4 English dogs and their owners for making it to the Senior Showdown Truck Hunt. First Jason Bullard and Randy Leanord with Awesome and John The Baptist. Brett Denney with Thunder Tammy and Manuel Mowery with Briar Creek Chaser.. I hope we do more as English men and follow the example of Jason and Awesome and start taking over the winners circle at the PKC hunts like we have the UKC. Next year lets try to have as many hounds there as any breed..... Good Luck

congradulations on getting a ticket on your hound. Maybe soon will be the year for the english dogs to take it home. I do not think most people understand how hard it is to get there, and when you do the 63 other dogs there are forsure winners. That makes it very hard to win. Good luck.

Mr. Williams, thanks for the kind words about BAWL. Everything you said was right on. That was my first time at this event last week with Chaser, I have never seen so many top hounds and even better handlers in one spot.... I was also suprised there were only 4 english dogs there.. I just hope BAWL can hold his own over there next year when it is his turn.. and hope we have many more English in the hunt..... Thanks again and Good Luck.

Larry, I am very lucky to get to hunt as much as I do, a very understanding wife at home and her support makes it easy to stay out some nights. Just got home today from Alabama, treed 12 in 3 nights... Not bad for a mutt like mine... You need to come south when you are able to hunt. Your welcome here anytime.

Bobby, there is a PKC hunt at Ten Mile this Saturday. Bring that nice female down and hunt with us. Ed with Masa, Manuel with Chaser, Chis and Tim with Hope and Me with Bawl, you would make at least 5 English dogs there... We can pleasure hunt after the hunt is over if you are up for it...
