When Shaq came to the heat he said it several times this is wades team he didn't take all the credit for winning. Like someone said before if it wasn't for wade, allen and miller LeBron wouldn't have gotten a second ring. You can make all the excuses you want for LeBron but he came to a team with superstar on it so he could win MJ was with the bulls through it all the good years and the bad and didn't jump ship just so he could win. He made them winners.

This is so dumb, I refuse to comment!

You got that right! They just need someone who is not afraid to play inside! He doesn't need to be a star, Wade and James will make him look good. They sure don't need a 6'11" shooting guard!

I can't believe anyone is comparing Lebron to MJ! Kobe should get consideration way before Lebron.

The thing that separates MJ from everyone else was his competativeness (sp). MJ would never join the best to be the best.

Two 7 game series this year and a Ray Allen 3 away from not winning the title. Yes, I'm serious. And Jordan doesn't have a series on his resume where he shrunk in the moment like Lebron does against Dallas.

Explain your theory on wheather Miami was not dominating! Jordans team didn't win all the Championships. You guys are only commenting on the championship seasons with Jordan! To hear all you Jordan fans, he only played 6 seasons, and he won em all. Like I have said about ten times on here, give me the bigger, faster, stronger player, everytime! When Lebrons finished with his career, we can do a better comparison, but at this point when both players were 28 yrs. old, James stats are way better! Don't take my word for it, look it up.

Thanks Chuck! Who knows who's best, or gonna be the best! Guys say MJ, or Kobe, or Magic, or The Big O, or Kareem, or Bird! I say Lebron, but it's all speculation, and who we like the best!

There are many things in a player that stats can NOT measure. The Will to Win is one of them. 2nd to None!

Not a Lebron hater here, he just shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan.

I don't believe the Heat can win 2 playoff series without Lebron. But I know Chicago won 1 or 2 when MJ went to play baseball! Who is the center on the Heats team this year? When Jordan played, they had Bill Cartwright, Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, and AC Green. Not great players, but they did their job. Chicago always had a great point guard as well. I don't think Lebron missed many games this year, but not sure on that! The Heat won when they had Shaq!

Pat; I always thought Jordan was the best of the best! Majic was the best point guard that I ever seen both in college & pros, the big guy could lead the fast break & lay it up or give you that no look pass to one of his teammates. Nobody could match up w/ him size wise & he could muscle his way to the basket as good as anybody. Larry Bird was my favorite forward, he could shot the lights out and a trmendous passer, always knew where his teammates were on the court at all times, just a great player. TV ratings took a big hit when these 3 players retired!!! Labron is very good, maybe sometimes he should try more to take the game over, not many players can match up w/ his size & guard him.

Did Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, etc.,etc, not have the WILL to win? Not one of them won a NBA title! Hate to break the news to you, but a bunch of ex-NBA players say Lebron will surpass Jordan as the best ever. So yes, even the people who have been there and done that mention those 2 in the same breath!

I didn't say they won a championship! I said "they won 1 or 2 playoff series. They won over 50 games the first year Jordan went to play baseball. They got to the Eastern Conference semis, and lost in 7 games to the Knicks! When Lebron left Cleveland they went from winning over 60 games, to winning 19! As a matter of fact, the Cavs have only won a little over 60 games since LBJ left. Wouldn't you think with all the first round draft picks they would start to improve a little?

charlie,
i agree magic was the best.too bad todays players don't have his class on the court! no show boating or talking sh!t,or flagrant fouls.he just made everybody better, and could play any position.

dpprofit,
lebron better surpass mj!!!
he punked out on clevland and went to a already GOOD team in miami.YES,he's a top player no doubt.
BUT... instead of beating them,he joined them...lol
when wade retires,if they don't have a true big man, there done.

mj;got selected to below average team... and stayed they built around him,and won with what he had!

magic;got selected to a veteran team and made it a dominate winning franchise.
