Just seen an old ad on B&D's Blue Spike in the 2007 BBOA Bluebook. Your Poncho dog and Spike look almost like mirror images of each other standing on the tree with their right side showing. Both very nice looking hounds for sure.

I travel to hunts to about 8-10 states. This is one of the Nicest Loudest Blue dogs anywhere. He is out of a Coon Treeing female too, which is very important to me when breeding.

Went hunting with Shaun Higgins and Jerry shoemaker last night. Treed 5 trees with coons. Maude did a nice job slipping ahead of the other dogs and tree a coon

I drew out with a lot of bluetick dogs the last year while finishing my brand X to grnt. As my son hunts a good blue female so I always pay attention to their ability.
Poncho showed good ability with looks and an awesome mouth, he was as good as any I hunted with, and better than most. His owner seems like a square shooter also, Jim.
