Went out with a buddy a couple weeks ago! I didn't even have a dog, just went with him to keep him company. Turned dogs loose on public huntinig area about 3 or 4 miles from my house. Dogs struck in at about 650 yds. and treed about 5 min. later, had a coon! This is where the fun started, or the misery! First of all, we couldn't find a descent place to go into the tree, but we backed in and got her. Instead of leaving that thicket, and I mean thicket, we cut her again.........2 hrs later, after crawling on our hands and knees for 15 yards, walking another 20 yards, crawling another 10 yards, bent over with my neck about to kill me, I made it out!!! Worst place I've ever been in my life, bar none! Ended up about a mile from the truck, one of the longest walks, I've ever made in my life! Anybody want to go hunt that area, I'll go with you, but I'll stay on the trail or at the truck. It's a good place to take someone you don't like, as long as you're the guide!
