Best managers? You don't need to leave your starter in for 7 innings in the playoffs. You need to use your bull pen which is the best bullpen in baseball. Bases loaded buster posey is up to the plate latos is frustrated. You don't leave him in the game. You take him out and put your best pitcher Chapman in to face the giants best hitter. Instead baker leaves latos in and posey hits a grand slam. That my friend was piss poor managing. It's not a regular season game dusty should have mixed things up. He got out managed in every way possible.

I thought it was Leyland managing the Reds that day! He just sat there and let the batters beat up on them.

I'm not a Yankee fan, but I do recognize talent when I see it. Joe Gerardi (IDK if that's spelled correct) is one of the best managers out there, along w/ Ron Washington (Rangers) and Ventura (White Sox).
I wish Detroit could and would pick one of them up as their next manager.

Now that the Reds are done, my favorite team is, whoever is playing the Yankees! In my opinion the Yankees have ruined baseball. Four of their players make more money than a bunch of teams whole payrolls!
It didn't help the Reds any, by losing one of the best pitchers in baseball, but losing 3 straight at home, come on!!!!!!

Matt I envy guys like you and Bruce!!! As a Pirates fan I would love to say we got in the divisional series!! It's been twenty years and counting since they have had a winning season. I thought for sure they were going to break that streak this year. They where in first place at the break, and 17 games above 500. But then they had the biggest collapse in MLB history. So the beat just rolls on. I'm not bitter, but you guys are so lucky!!! LOL!!
