Sounds good to me! Id like to see a hunt held in these old mt! Just wondering weather yall could put up the guides! Its hard to get a single guide at most clubs these days! Would love to see the world hunt on the ege of ohio an wv myself! Not to far away!
I also agree that they should keep the same format north/ south people can bitch about the location but r deep south brothers deserve a home feild advantage! Plus i like the low scores makes u belive that it was honest coon dog work done! JMO

wld hunt 2013

think back 6-8 yrs lincoln co. and jackson co. west virgina hosted the wv state and hunted more dogs than any other state in the union. check the records with ukc. i personaly know that at milton the hi scoreing friday nite dog was 850----sat nite--[1000 2 years a go. they were both out of my dog. so bring on the wld. hunt to ripley wv. and enjoy it.

I could definitely see it being held in Ripley,wv great group of hunters at the Jackson Co CHA I would guarentee noone would be disapointed.... Maybe if all of us who think that Ripley would be a great spot mailed a letter to Alan then they would look at it a little closer Just my opinion but yah know what they say about opinions......

They could hold it at the fairgrounds, plenty of space. and sorry you had to drive 2 hrs to hunt .... how long ago was this? My brother is the current president of the Jackson Co. CHA and in the last 3 or so years it seems like the club members have really stepped up in guiding cast. Maybe i am wrong tho.... havent actually paid attention when they draw out cast... But that being said I would love to see it held in WV no matter where it is.... Ripley would be my first choice tho... but I am a little biased

Also no ruffled feathers here, Just think that if it WAS gonna be held in West Virginia Ripley is central and has good interstate access as well as plenty of hotels and accomidations....... I doubt VERY seriously the world hunt will ever be held in Wv in my lifetime, but a girl can dream cant she? I called UKC and ask them about it being held here and they couldnt confirm or deny it. But the lady I talked to told me the best thing I could do is write a letter to Alan and thats what I did.... Never hurts to try...

I'd withdraw before I hunt in Matt arringtons spots , he's a good guy but him and his crab creek buddies run them coons in their spots to death , they run and run and burn a lot of time , I've never been in his spots where we turned loose more than twice , as for the mcclanes never knew them to hunt much outta the other KC , I don't care where or who I hunt with cause I know what iam hauling in my dog box , and iam usually asked to guide n judge anywhere I go cause I got coons that ain't run to death , and we always have a cast winner with more than one coon scored , governor cup a good example , 827 1/4 plus . I hope they do decide to hold it somewhere besides blue field like Jackson county , I'd love to guide a world cast , iam only 45 minute from Jackson co club . I just hope that if and when it's held in wv it's not talked down that's all , not trying to argue , so don't turn this into one .

Iam not complaining at all , whish they would have it in ripely , like I said I would love to see it in wv , iam just saying some of the people mentioned I wouldn't give a penny for their spots , I go to a hunt and spend money on expenses I want to be on coons . I sent a pm to a moderator and haven't had a reply so I'll believe it when it's official west Virginia has it . You don't have to cuss and use profanity just a discussion , lol , like I said not wanting to ruffle feathers not what I was trying .

I have drew Matt several times over the years we never had any trouble treeing coons down there. Maybe it was a bad night when you were there. Randy and cole are great friends of mine they hunt both just prefer the other kc. But there is at least 20 more guides that I didn't name that live between my house and ripely which is 40 mins away

West Virginia

U guys can beat some of the stupidest topics to death! Surely UKC isn't dumb enough to hold the world hunt in West Virginia in 2013 after the disaster in Louisiana! Come on get real! Hey I heard it was gonna be in Las Vegas! Lol!
