R.lee prater, I was going to ask you what studdog you had. That had Bark Bustin Bush in his ped. and you answered it " Joker". I have a great grand-daughter of his. I was thinking on breeding her to Joker. Her heat cycle is kind of spurratic or she may not even come inheat. She just turned 9yrs old and she's the best dog i have ever owned. I used to own her mom (Jesse) also and she was a good one. Seeing how her heat cycle is (this cross may not take place).

Kravik, I raised a litter a couple of years ago from a brother to your females mother. Finley River Driver is his name (out of Uncle Lee and Sally). Every pup in that litter turned out really nice. I would be interested in a cross of your female and Praters Joker dog for sure.

Really enjoyed talking with you the other day...Can't wait to make this cross on Brookshiers Finley River Driver x Kraviks Babe it's going to be a good one...If anyone is interested .Kraviks Babes mommy Brookshiers Jesse and Finley river Driver are brother and sister.and.Boys these Dogs are the real deal. My name is Jason Clark from Pa. But originally from Illinois.. I've owned Driver since he was 2yrs old and have hunted with or handled every dog you see in his ped. Except the old Bush dog. First time I ever put a pedigree up on here..haha. What a pain in the%%S. Yours looks much better..LOL..

Anyways, I'm breeding a daughter out of driver to this Grntch male out of Durbins Rambler x Rolling hills Jane as soon as she comes in heat..Should be anytime...What I'm hoping to get out of it is : 1) little more tree at a younger age..2) little more leg but not much 3) That enormous lipper mouth that Rambler stamps on all his pups..4) and just to compliment an already outstanding strain of fast, heads up,drifting style,of one bark locate ,track driving tree dog!...

In my opinion two of the most underrated lines of coon dogs out there...Bar none!

Hi,

From looking at Jessie's pedigree the Lone Pine Billy dog must be a littermate to the Echoing Wild Patch dog in Spanky's pedigree. I hope to breed her to Zig, if and when she comes in. She is 13 and still puts dogs half her age to shame on track and tree. She is double Wild Casey and Hillbilly Mack, Jr.


The only way to keep what you have is LINEBREEDING. Throw in a prepotent sire (Rambler) and go back to linebreeding and improve the strain.

You boys have got it figured out.
