Oneys Outback Dan has a real nice mouth and is putting that mouth on his pups. the loudest i ever heard was a grandson to Vanzants Sam and Rockwood Mighty Blue Spike, had many people ask when he open and locate would lookat me and ask what they hell is that! the loudest longest locate i ever heard by far. hunted one nite and bert oney told me the next day he heard ole lightning treed, it was almost 2.5 miles away from where they were at. no exageration!

i have to say hogback jack. from pa. i have a dog out of him and , maybe he is abnormal or something, but he is loud. you can stand 750 yds. away from him in a storm, wind blowin against you and you can hear him. you can hear him anywhere. he is out of the finest, jack is that is. so therefore my man is.

i have a few folks that will attest to this.

The loudest mouth i have ever heard was TimberJack Log Chain(RIP)...He was the loudest i have ever been in the woods with hands down...And he passed it on to his pups...I have seen people say they had loud dogs till they hunted with them and when they opened up you couldnt hear those so called loud mouth dogs..haha

Well to start. Looks like this thread started in about 2005 or so. I've never had the pleasure to hunt with any of these legends. I've read thru most all replies and best I can tell not one mentioned a Mainstreet sire being super loud. I can say I own a grandson to Wolfe Creek Rollen Rock and I feel that line has really dominated as one of the loudest lines in the English. Here is a video of my Clay .

I had three directly out of postells totally awesome coondogs for sure average mouths had to hunt them by thereself or with a muzzle. Meaner than a junkyard dog all three of them but would tree coons and make it look easy

GRNITE CH Hardtime Buck is the loudest dog I've ever heard. He's out of Seth's Dino dog. Huge locate and amazingly fast on track. I think Jason Bullard has him now.

I did hut a few years ago with a dog out of Rolling Rock and will have to say I believe that is the loudest mouthed (modern day) english hounds I have heard. However having said that, I wouldn't want it as the dog I hunted with treed with a short bawl on the tree and I hate any type bawl mouth tree dog, LOL!!
