Here is another tip from Mr. Chuck ,,, When you build a sand box next spring for your kids or grandkids ,,Get a pan and pan it out you will be surprised at the gold that you can SOMETIMES find gold not always but I've found enough of it to pay for the bags of sand that you buy at Lowes or Home Depot ,,,,lol

Just got through reading about a 12 lb nugget being dug up in Austrailia ,,,worth a cool $ 500,000.00,,,, Lord I'd have a heart attack for sure diggin something out like that,,, Oh well I'd probably have a grin on my face when I went out ,,,,lol

Chuck that sure is tempting but i got another year or so to retirement i hope and then don't be showing me any gold stuff nuff said i be on your door steps.

Down here we all the time looking for the John swift Silver Mine even have a night club named the Silver mine Saloon Good place to get your butt whipped up on been there a time or two.
When coon hunting in the general area of where the silver mine was to have been and my dog would maybe have the worse habit ever of barking in the ground and before we ever knew what a shock collar was and had to always go get the dog and whip it or try to smother it with some kind of toxic fumes put on a rag and put back in the den then push the dog head in and try to sufficate him break him or kill him some dogs it worked on others never broke lol.
The point i wanted to make was i always was looking for the dog to be digging out silver hopeing he had found the Silver Mine i am not even sure what silver would look like fresh out of the ground.

One last question Chuck did you ever know of any Gold being found in Kentucky don't force me to quit my job now by saying yes its found all the time.lol.

When i use to be the foreman of a strip mine back in the 80's my boss and i would take the company drill out and charge by the foot to drill water wells i am as good as you can get with finding the best place to drill a water well with the two coat hanger water witching we called it. Drill a well at the crossing of the X and find water every time.

Carl ,Yes there is gold in Ky. But not in large amounts like in other states,Gold has never been mined commercially in Ky.Hawaii,or my home state of WVa ,,So don't quit your day job for now. I once got to pull guard detail at Fort Knox at the gold depository ,,But all i saw there was one skid/pallet of gold bullion bars ,,but mercy it was pretty ,,but thats all i saw didn't get to see the whole stash. You get yourself retired and the you give me a shout and we'll have us some fun,,,lol

Chuck i have heard of it but would have no idea of how to do it.

Is it where they make a half moon or hurricane in those little pans looks like a lot of fun.

Wrong thing you are talking about the rods to find gold i think.

I can do the same thing with two copper coat hangers to find water use to drill water wells and i would find the best spot to drill that was close to the house

I love watching that show! I believe that Scott Meisterheim, or whatever his name is, is a nutcase! Just like all the reality shows, you wonder what is truth, and what is just for show. But it's still fun to watch!
