The only time you can assign a dog tree points is if the dog is AT the tree TREEING but NOT DECLARED treed WHEN THE JUDGE ARRIVES.

You can't assign anything to a dog that comes in after the judge arrives. If coon is seen he gets his strike minused but he doesn't have tree points. If its slick or off game and the dog comes in it gets its strike circled, even if it comes in and trees every breath on the possum it gets its strike circled and no tree points.

What if the moh says everything is settled and does not let you file a FC? I don't know if that has happened before its just a thought.

If the dog comes in and doesn't show treed i wouldn't tell the handler to handle the dog. doesn't he have to show tree or obviously quick track to be handled?

This is how it should be done by the rules even if dog was declared treed if he isnt showing tree when cast arrives he gets minus tree points for leaving tree and keeps hunting.

A B C are scratched and D is not because he was not there when the judge arrived or at least that is the way it reads in the advisor

No all dogs at the tree MUST be leashed. It's not an option. If a dog comes into a tree after the judge arrives you gotta put him on a leash. If coon is seen AND dogs treeing are awarded plus points his strike is minused. If anything else the strike is circled.

Any time a dog is at a tree you gotta put a leash on it.

No, the points do not get deleted. Dogs arriving to a tree after the judge arrives get their strike points CIRCLED unless coon is seen AND the dogs treeing are awarded plus points. Its rule 5 b.

Rule 5 is titled "circle and deleted points".

Then the subheading "circle points" which goes through B

"(b) No dog to receive minus points for coming into
tree after Judge arrives unless a coon is seen and
the dogs treeing are awarded plus points."

So that means dogs coming in after the judge arrives get circled.

Then it has another subheading titled "delete points" and that goes C, D, E, F, G, and H which spells out exactly when to delete points. None of those are a dog coming into a tree after the judge arrives.

And you could continue doing for another 100 years and no one will say a word. But you'll be doing it wrong. If that doesn't bother you, then it don't bother me.
