I remember most of these dogs. Brings back alot of memories of hunts with Dave Stein and others. Also, many friendship back at the club house.
I do not see this line much any more.

recall. like gr nite ch webb's blue trimmer...son of gr nite ch warson's northern blue trapper. and "shadow" was dual gr ch germon's blue shadow owned by al germon up in the n.e. i knew this one personally. he came about by his dam being bred to a littermate of ron "hody's" hodous nite ch northern blue bones. bones was killed in the road and so the fella that owned shadow's dam shipped her to texas to be bred! the bitch was bob dyjak's blue jesse and i hunted with her as well. good female. shadow reproduced some nice hounds and deserves more than what he has received in recognition. you will find him on some of the northern blue pedigrees as well. "bones" was from the gr nite ch hammer III male and dual ch northern blue honey.

I've notice Rebel mentioned several times in this thread. Charlie Mcoy is my neighbor. He has told me alot of stories about Rebel. I will let him know that he and Rebel were mentioned on the message board. I am sure he will get a big smile on his face. He is still hunting Blue dogs.

I WILL HAVE A FEW LITTERS OUT OF MY OPPY DOG. I HAVE HIM BRED BACK TO A DAUGHTER OF HIS. TODD HAS THE FEMALE HE GOT FROM REX AND TRENT BRED TO HIM, THERE ARE A COUPLE OUTCROSSES ALSO. REX, SORRY I HAVEN'T GOTTEN AHOLD OF YOU BEFORE NOW, STILL IN AND OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND WORKING ON ALL OF MY DAUGHTERS AFFAIRS AFTER HER ACCIDENT 3 YEARS AGO. SEEMS NEVER ENDING, BUT WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO GETTING BACK TO NORMAL LIFE. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING TO SOME NITE HUNTS AND REALLY GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT THE DOGS AGAIN. MY# IS 563-876-9093. We are having a BBOA Get together hunt at Sweet Springs Mo. Aug 5 & 6 sure would like to see you and Oppy there. I have hunted with a lot of the dogs , owned a few and know most of the rest of his ancestors. Would like to see if he lives up to his pedigree, I know if you own him he must!

THANKS FOR THE INVITE, BEEN A WHILE SINCE WE'VE GOT TO VISIT. OPPY IS A NICE DOG AND GETS THE JOB DONE IN STYLE MOST OF THE TIME. HE HAD A PIECE OF GREEN BRIAR REMOVED OFF ONE OF HIS VOCAL CORDS AWHILE BACK AND THE SCAR TISSUE TOOK SOME OF HIS MOUTH, BUT ALL HIS PUPS HAVE GOOD LOUD MOUTHS AND ARE INDEPENDANT TREEDOGS PER HIS PEDIGREE. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT OUR OLD BUDDY RICK TOMTER IS GONE, SURE MISS HIM, HIS HUMOR AND THE FUN WE HAVE HAD HUNTIN AND GOING TO THE HUNTS TOGETHER. ANYBODY HUNTIN? TODD, HOW'S YOUR FEMALE LOOKIN? DID BEAS SEND ANY PUP PAPERS YET? GOT SOME INBRED OPPY PUPS HERE IN NORTH EAST IOWA. 2MALES 3 FEMALES. BEEN HUNTIN SOME AND RUNNIN COONS IN THE CORN. GOT A COUPLE FEMALE PUPS FROM 2 OTHER LINES THAT ARE BOTH DOING GOOD. I'M GOING TO CONCENTRATE ON KEEPING SOME PUPS BACK FOR MYSELF OUT OF OPPY TO KEEP AND HUNT. EVERYTIME I GET ONE GOING THEY SEEM TO GET SOLD. HE HAS THROWN SOME NICE PUPS OUT OF THE HAND FULL OF FEMALES THAT HE HAS BEEN BRED TO. THERE HAS BEEN A GOOD PERCENTAGE OF TOP HOUNDS THAT HAS COME FROM MANY DIFFERENT CROSSES WITHIN THIS LINE OF DOGS. JAMES MOONEY OF OXFORD MISSISSIPPI WILL OPEN SOME EYES WITH A YOUNG MALE PUP HE HAS OUT OF JINX

SENT A FEMALE OUT OF MORT AND AN OPPY FEMALE TO MIKE MITCHELL OF PINE TOPS NORTH CAROLINA, HE HAD A DOG OUT OF JUNKYARD DAVID 15 YEARS AGO THAT HE SAYS WAS HIS BEST YET AND HE KNOWS WHAT A COON DOG IS. HAVE HEARD ALOT OF GUYS POP UP THROUGH THE YEARS AND SAY, YEAH, I HAD A DOG OUT OF THAT STUFF, HELLUVA DOG, GOT OLD OR GOT KILLED AND NEVER COULD FIND THAT BLOOD ANYMORE ETC. ETC. I'VE GOT SOME FEMALES BRED AND THERE ARE A COUPLE OUTSIDE FEMALES THAT I WILL LIST WHEN THE OWNERS SAY THE FEMALE IS BRED FOR SURE. I have hunted with the trail dog and several of the littermates to the Cin dog. They were all exceptional dogs. The cin dog was good with the previous owner also.

Perry,
Hey just wanted to let you know that Capri doesn't look like she is bred and if she is, she isn't going to have many. I talked to Jay yesterday. Him, Kerry and I are going to the Governor's Cup Aug. 20th. There's room for you too if you want to go. Just give me a holler and let me know. We got our papers a while ago. Haven't you gotten yours yet? Kerry and I took Chevy hunting the other night. He ran and treed like he's an old dog. We really like him! Do you want me to send you Oppy's entry card or are we going to get together and go hunting so I can get you the card and Oppy's bed back? Rex just had hernia surgery a week or so ago. Did you know Doug Kirby? He got killed last weekend by Manchester. He owned that Posey dog. The one that was a sister to Buzz. I went to the wake with another guy that knew him. Have you talked to Two Toes much lately? We might go visit him next weekend and go watch the races in Lancaster.

THERE IS AN RQE AT ELIZABETH, NEXT WEEKEND, THE 20TH AT ARGYLE, AND A MINI SLAM AT HEBRON THE END OF THE MONTH.
