Gas 1.87 a gallon when Obummer took office so with all the change what are you paying today if you remember he said gas needed to be 5 to 6 dollars a gallon

Can't blame anything but the oil corps. They controll the price and the government. If you want to just get to were you can afford two thirds of the lobbiests. Then you can change any way or make any new one you want. We have been haveing an oil shortage any time they want one for as long as I can remember.
By the way they are drilling drilling drilling as fast as they can. They have have found the richest field in history in N. Dakota. A frind of mine just made a trip up there to see what it will take to lay a pipe line from it to the Canadian line. They are allso looking at laying a line from Cussing Okla. to Huston to be able to get it to more refineries.
Plenty of blame to go around but if you really want to put the mane blame on the ones causeing the shortage. Blame the futures market. The fat cats buy it up and store it in the tanks we need to store excess fuel. Then the refineries have no place to put there product. The refineries have to slow down production and only produce what they can sell that day. That is what makes the shortage. You haul a load of oil up there and they don't want to take it becouse they have all there storage tanks full of oil owned by investers that won't sell there oil.

How many people on here have taken the time to check out anything about the oil companies? How many know that 3 of the 6 largest oil companies selling fuel in US are owned by foreign countries?
Shell oil, owned by the Dutch.
BP oil, owned by the British.
Cito,and Petro, owned by Venezuela. Chavez, president of Venezuela along with the Socialist Presidents of Bolivia and Ecuador have (nationalized) all oil companies' assets in their countries.
We have as much or more oil then any other country in the world but because there are no permits to drill we have to import most of what we use. There hasn't been a new refinery build in US for many years. WHY? Because no one wants one built near them. So companies are unable to get permits to build, although there has been a permit issued for one in So. Dakota.
One thing all US owned oil companies are owned by Stockholders. That means if you have a 401 or a retirement plan you are a part owned in these US companies.

I`m really not sure who or what the problem is, but gas prices in our area
have just set a new record high! Thank you obama, and your administration for looking out for America, and our middle and lower class!
Maybe with that money you loaned Brazil to help them with their oil exploration, we can soon expect gas prices to go back to $3.75 a gal.
