That is one of the reasons why I just look for PR in the pedigree. It doesn't tell color which is right in line with my thinking since I don't put much into color. If a livertick has a PR pedigree, I know it's a Bluetick.

i was told i couldnt reg this livertic pup with its littermates cause of its color,,well it could be dna verifide as bluetick for at least 3 gen. on its dna but because of its color it wouldnt be allowed to be litter reg.

but yet several different known crossbreds were allowed to be single reg as a breed and given papers which would mess up whole breeds all together..

all these pups carryed the same dna so if one shouldnt be reg ,,the rest shouldnt be either and i didnt so who lost out,,i didnt loose any money by not reg them but somebody else did cause i didnt want to reg a gene pool that had a throback from 30-40 yrs ago that might affect somebodys breeding program..here the pup picture that were Not reg..

Why can't a liver Bluetick be registered as English? Still the same breed originally and conforms to the standard...

Not to much Work, 3 Papers and about $60 and a Little hunt with a Master of Hounds Sometimes you may have to Pay the Master of Hounds a small Fee for his time but that depends on the Person you use for your Physical and Field Hunt Inspection .

It happens to be a very Painless Process
