Why do you need a stud dog section? We already have a seperate Classified section for each breed. That's suppose to be where stud dogs,pups and dog's for sale go. What you might want instead of a stud dog section is a different section for each breed to shoot the bull in and if classified's or stud dog ad's show up in there they get deleted.

But I like the board fine just the way it is.

LOL Yep that or a link going to one for a small fee to help with the expense of this forum. They are makeing money off the studs. I don't see were it would hurt to have a place they could have a button on here at the bottom of the page to take you to there web sight for a little fee.

Not sure what you mean Okie. there's a place in your profile that if you have a web site you can put the address there and then when you make a post at the bottom of each post there's a button that says 'WWW' all you have to do is click on that and it will take you to their site if they have one.

I mean like on the home page have a button. Like So and So kennel with a pic of the stud or what ever and you can click on it. A lot of web sights have paid adds on them.
Like the print restaurant coupons button on the bottom of the home page. There like a web sponsor.

The thing is when you are looking for a pup or try to sell a pup you can't find anything for all the studs. I just wished the studs had there own spot.

I sold three litters of pups this Spring off of the Walker Classified's.

Didn't say you couldn't sell stuff but if you don't get on here everyday do you think people are going to read to page 15 every 2 days. What if they just get on once a week are they going to ready to page 30. If they just get on here once a month are they going to read to page 54. You can get on here ever 6 hours and post another pic of your pups you have 8527 post. That is 1218 post a year and 3.3 post a day. It would just make it easier for me but your on here 24/7 you have time to look at the whole site everyday.

the stud dog forum is great but let's not make it to complicated.

seperate by breed, then maybe under each breed have a sticky where you can list dogs that have semen available.

you dont need a forum just strictly for semen availability, you'd have basically the same dogs listed in it as in the forum itself.

If your all so dead set on having a stud dog section why not just make a sub board on each breed's classified's now?

But I still think it's not needed.

performace stud forum

real good idea. list in the same format as in bloodlines.
with the pad ped template i feel it would increase the value of the information presented.

i wonder why stud adv seldom post pad ped. the proof is in the pudden, not what the stud has done. seen a lot of goods dogs that could not produce a coon dog. also seen dogs that did not win a lot of big hunts that produced the dogs that are winning big.

with pad ped avaiable to the average joe would make it a lot easier to research a possible stud.

ukc has offered the option of being able to access the pad of all dogs reg. but i have not seen where it got off the ground.

this will add work the forum maintance but i feel it would give you a place to do your researce with out having check as many posts.

PED !!! This is just One thing that I really like About the AKC Site is that you can Order a online Pedegree $10 - $12 I have used their Service Quite abit !!!

Its Great for Research !!!!

I still think there should a some kind of charge for this. It is added work and some one has to pay for the extra hours and help. If UKC takes it out they have to put it back in some how. I know if I had a stud I wouldn't mind paying to list it on here.

it would save a lot time for a high tiderlike me that ask to post ped when i have not taken the time to read all the threads,

one place all the perf. studs are listed/ pad would be a plus information
