funny how the ones complaining about the rules and way things are, are always the same people complaining while the ones who are winning are doing what it takes to win instead of sitting on their computer bit***** and making ignorant excuses why they cant win!

You guys can like or not like Russ Bellar. The point is that you have to respect what he done and will continue to do in the coonhunting world. He is just doing now, what he was doing years ago with Striker, Pac-Man, and the Deamon dog. He wins and will continue to win. Do not take away the fact, that LIL RED is a very nice female or Russ would not own her. Anyway you look at it, congratualtions to a good man and a very good female.

Nobody in the history of coonhounds, has ever put more effort into getting a dog ready for a hunt than Bellar.
As ive said before, it borders on insanity.

I have hunted dogs for him for 10 yrs or so and I still shake my head in disbelief after almost every nite I hunt with him when he is on a mission. About the time im thinking that bed would sure feel good, he literaly starts running to and from trees to get more drops in before daylite, and this goes on nite after nite after nite.
Ive seen him produce a chainsaw from the truck and make absolute sure a tree (his own property)was slick or not.
He puts a lot of effort into KNOWING where the coon are at and at what time, he leaves very little to "hope". And no, there are no feeders.
After running a clock for him the week before walker days and knowing how ready the dog was, the only thing that surprised me was that the score wassnt higher.

You can say hes lucky, say hes a cheat, say he wins because he has money, but I for a fact know how he does it. Its by having more drive and want-to than anyone else. Your sure not gonna beat him by getting on here and whining and crying because he won another.

No doubt it takes preperation Elvis. What I want to know is why aren't yal hunting the money circiut? If she is throwing scores like this almost every weekend surly she should win big on the money circuit. Not being a smarty this is a sincere question. One coon every 13 minuits is unbeilable! Good hunting.

Whinners

Some of you guys that never give up crying, should have had a few more spankings when you were little! You act like childish little kids! I know if you were at work & you were the supervisor, you'd sure get tired of you in a hurry!

My Grand kids go by THE THUMPER RULE!
" If you ain't got nuttin good to say, don't say nuttin at all!"

Some of you should try it! We would all appreciate it!

You dingbats do know this hunt was in Indiana Right? Imagine if it had been here in Michigan....

Just because you can't get 2 coon treed all night, whether it be to lack of coon or lack of DOG POWER, does not mean that when the coon are present and a COON DOG is present, that it cannot be done.

IT CAN.

That being said, I have never scored more than 1050+ in a hunt, but that was in Arkansas... and I came in SECOND in 1989. Here in Michigan, my best score was 675+ Depends on the coon and the dog.

Luck is preparation meeting opportunity. Russ Bellar obviously prepares, and by doing so, half of the equation is met. Opportunity happens each time he turns one out.

I wish I had that kind of drive.

Yes, i even read his adds and i take everything i read with a grain of salt( he has made a lot of money) LOL....Someone that writes for a major magazine and walks along on a cast and writes in the magazine with the other cast members interview and they all jive up.... Let me just put it out there this way Mr. Snuff..... I'm amazed that you few(very few) Have nothing good at all to say about Mr. Bellar(whom i know nothing about, except what i have read) Give this man so much credit to be able to buy his way through all this... Guides, Judges, cast members and such to win a hunt with a average of over 1000 + in just about every cast she has been put in..... Just looking at what you few have been saying about Mr Bellar makes you seem more like the FAIRY TAIL guy then me.... I could not imagine a man being able to pull that off every weekend( buying out 8 to 10 people every hunt) instead of just putting his best foot forward and focusing on winning( Buying the best dog money can buy, Fine tuning that dog and being put into coon. to win..... Do you take your cast into the worst woods available? or do you hunt the best spots you can come up with...Do you take your best dog and push it to its limits every night? I'm not going to say something about someone i do not know but the Man and his dog have been kicking some butt for a while and i like it myself.... so keep on dreaming up your fairy tales of why he wins and the deck is not stacked in anyone elses favor... and i'll keep lauging at you and your excuses...UNLESS you guys start coming up with names and actual people that have taken money or bribes instead of a friends, second cousin, that would not like me to say his name on a public board ....LOL

Trivia Question " What combo first came up with the idea to shoot reflectors on nails in slick trees to score coon and got caught in the PKC World Hunt" My memory fades.

Perry those guys were not the innovators. I know of one guy who was doing that when I was a kid back in the early 80's.

Tell me where im wrong. 2025 means first and first on 9 coon. Now in a four dog cast you are never gonna get four dogs that run and tree togeather, atleast i never have so you will have to run the 5 so 9x5= 45. Now you have 75 minutes of hunt time left. Now lets be gererous and say you can get struck every time in 2 minutes 9x2=18 now you have 57 minutes left. Now let us assume all nine coon can be treed in 4 minutes(pretty quick average) 9x4= 36 minutes so now we have 21 minutes left. 9 coon mean 9 trees to shine and score so un less these coon are wearing tracking collars a three minute average on 9 trees would be pretty quick. 9x3=27 whoops we only had 21 minutes left.and i certainly think in coon that thick you are gonna have to walk to some splits and probably gonna look at a dentree or 2. SO unless you are lucky enough to draw two guys that decide they gotta go home it probably doesnt matter whats on the end of your lead or how hard you worked to get that dog ready.
Maybe the guys that spent there hard earned dollars and hauled a good coondog to this hunt thinking they had a chance are the hunters we should be congradulating.

LilRed is second in the state of IN. in open money this year. Her kennel mate, Buster, who won walker days last year and the sr. ss this year is leading the state.
Oh yea, she also has 3 world champions for kennel mates.

Does that somehow make them better?

Ill tell Bellar maybe he could make some money hunting over there. ROFL I promise you, he got much more enjoyment from winning walker days last weekend and watching these Bellar haters get on here and whine and complain, than he got from winning the 15000.00 the weekend before.
This stuff is old hat for him, there have been times in the past where they have put 3 special judges on his cast just because he was winning so much they figured he had to be cheating.

I have to wonder, why do people think that Mr. Beller would pay hunters to withdraw or cheat in some other fashion? Dont you all think if someone was paid off that somebody whoud have let it slip after all these years of him winning these hunts? I know he has some prime land to hunt but how many on this board hasnt tried to stack to odds in there favor? Like hunting on feeders? So if a person wins becaulse he hunts hard and works to have the best he is labeled a cheater? We in these times want instant results that sometimes it takes extra work to get the best we can. If he is in it to make money how come he dosnt have a add on every page of the mags? We as hunters should give the guy a hand shake and pick his brain as to what does he do to have such sucess? This is just my opinion

It's already been posted. Hunt a top notch hound and hunt it untill you know it inside and out. I never said he ws perfect and don't really have anything to gain but for someone who has won as much as he maybe you guys should have a little respect for the man. Yes money helps but you still have to put the coon on a limb and the five we treed at walker days friday night you could have scored all five coon in three minutes.
