My dogs eat it but i don't think they care for the wee little kibble size as much as the taste. Wish they made a bigger size kibble. Only tried the orange and lime green bags though.

$23.00 plus tax for 21 17 or $26.00 for 26 20 at a local feed store here with our coon club's discount.

Did buy some 24 20 Diamond Hi Energy yesterday for $23.79. Feed store had $2.00 off per bag for some reason. When I mixed the 50 pound bag of 21 17 Pride with the 50 pound bag of High Energy I got more scoop's of feed out of the Hi Energy bag. Thought that was odd although I'm sure there is a reason.

The density of the food will affect the volume, the bottom line is the weight. You can have the exact same weight, but the volume it takes up can be very different. Everyone always says I give my dogs "xx" amount of scoops of food every day. Then you hear them talk about switching dog foods & how they are feeding the exact same amount of scoops & the dog is not doing as well or has the runs. Many times they are over or under feeding because the weight they are feeding daily has been drastically affected by the volume being much different due to a different density than what they had been feeding before. I'll shut up for now John! LOL Keep ole blue in that timber!

Vic

That's kinda what I figured. The Diamond has bigger chunks also and I knew that could affect how much feed would fit in a scoop because it wouldn't pack as tight. I fed the Diamond last year and liked it but went back to the Pride because the price of the Diamond went up at Tractor Supply. Now I have found the Diamond at a lower price at Rural King and Buckley Brothers so I'm going to use it again. With multiple dogs of different age groups, I like the 24 20 blend but I'm not sold on the Pride 24 20.

I've fed the pride for about a year now and it is probably the best feed that I have ever fed my dogs do real good on it and they have good shiny coats.i feed both the 21/17 or the 26/20 pro series. My dogs love it . especially for the price it's as good as anything that you will give thirty five dollars a bag.the diamond naturals is good feed but for the price difference the pride is just as good in my opinion.

that comes from all the corn. It's really not great food just cheap. Your first 3 ingredients are a big % of what the food is made up of.
