Iv hunted with storm every drop sense she has got better, an she is a coon dog an her mouth gets better every nite,Jenn you did good an i see the bond you have with her, Thanks for the offer to hunt her at the spring clasic it ment a lot that you would trust me with her but i dont think i could live with the fack if something went worng, But i will help you make her a NtCh or at lease drive you.

OH I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR AND SEE THIS! IT'S BEEN SUCH A ROUGH AND LONG ROAD FOR YOU BOTH!

IN THE END'S IT'S ALL PAID OFF THOUGH!

IF SHE'S GOT HALF THE HEART AND DESIRE I KNOW SHE DOES, WITH YOU BY HER SIDE, IT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO DO ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO WITH HER!

WHAT AN AWESOME END TO SUCH A TRAGIC STORY.

I WAS SOOOOO WORRIED ABOUT HER THERE AT THE BEGINNING.

I WISH I COULD GET THOSE VIDEOS TO LOAD SO EVERYONE COULD SEE HOW IT STARTED AND PROGRESSED AND THEN EVENTUALLY GOT BETTER.

I MAY WORK ON THAT THIS WEEKEND. THERE'S GOT TO BE A WAY!

Thanks Tim for the compliment on my gal......I thought I'd offer, everybody else has...lol. I want to push her in some hunts cause I know she can do it, and do it right. Thanks Tim for being patient with me and Storm in the beginning, but now I'm seeing you ain't regretting it. I think your getting kinda sweet on my gal....

Christy, you of all people know exactly how far me and Storm have came together. The road we've been down I never want to travel again, but if I do I know what to do exactly. She means the world to me and I've never stuck by an animal so much in my life....She truely is an extraordinary hound......Christy I still have every video from the time I found her to now......I still look back at them and cry, thinking of the heartache and loneliness I felt with her. Now she's miss TURBO! She's wired worse now than she was before. When I named her, I named her for her pedigree...and now I'm seeing her personality fits it better..... It describes her solely...Nitro Powered Storm.

Sounds great Jenn about Storm. It was brobably the steroids that helped her voice. That is what I use when one of my dogs get hoarse. A lot of vets. don't know that it helps with hoarseness. Larry

Thanks Larry. Storm means alot to me...... Tim thinks alot of her now that he see's she's a flatout coondog...... I enjoy everthing about this dog.......once a get a title of some sort on her she'll be bred to BEAN.......I know the title part will NOT be hard for her......

For the PMs I've recieved......

Storm is doing awesome....back to her old self......she's actually gained a little too much weight here lately, but I'm not complaining.... She's got an awesome over powering chop now that carries for miles......She's deadly accurate (like always), and getting back to being a belly up treedog...... She still gets pooped if I drop her more than twice, but she'd keep going if I let her....Her drive and heart has given me such inspiration through the tough times I've gone though here lately....... She's done been in one HTX hunt and treed 2 coons within the 1st 30mins of the hunt but she got her faults because she moved tree twice, but I ain't complaining, the judges dog didn't even see any coons with his dog when he hunted him in it...lol But I plan on her getting a NTCH title this summer and put her on bench some........still cat-footed as all get out........

Again thank you to everyone who prayed and sent messages concerning Storm.....her strength has pulled her through and helped me be a stronger person.......I guess God does things in this life to lets us know how mentally and physically capable we are. He never puts burden on us that we can't handle..........Just sometimes we need something physical in front of us, so that we can appreciate life.........Never take any life for granted...not even your ole mangy potlickers.........Life's too short, so enjoy every minute possible..........It can be taking at the blink of an eye........

VA.REB....... thank you for your prayers........it means alot when an absolute stranger stretches out their thoughts in prayer for someone they don't even know......thank you from the bottom of my heart......

BIGCASTLEDAWGS....Heather and Bob.......Thank you for staying with me through the tough, thick, and hard times......I thought I'd NEVER see the end of the tunnel with Storm......but with prayers and the great LORD above Storm and I pulled thru it........She truely is a miracle to me.......

I thought I was going to be posting a tragic story, but now I've been able to post a ray of sunshine for those who have had problems with their hounds....Stick by their side because they will never forsake you or judge you.....we may give up sometimes, but the heart of a hound is far greater than we can imagine.........I have a unimaginable love now for my girl Storm that can NEVER be broken.......And if I ever get out of hounds, I guess I got me a good house dog that loves those ricky ringtails, and I guess my cat and chihuahua will have to move over and share the bed and couch...AGAIN.... LOL.......

This post has been such therapy for me and has helped me realize what a special hound I have at home.......Thank you for all who have stood by me...........

Storm a week after being totally paralyzed, you can see she stopped eatting a whole lot.......


My sick girl in front of the TV.....you can see the bowl of pedialyte and syringe that I kept by her at all times.....I made her drink...


This is bout a week after she started walking......you can see she had NO muscle mass in her back or legs anymore....


These are Storms cohorts in crime when she lived in the house.....Prissy and Lucy....sisters from different species...LOL!!!


I thought I'd share some of my photos of my girl and my other girls.... You can see her progress was steady but still I thought many times I was going to lose her.......

Well Tim at least I don't hunt against you with her........then I could see you really hating her....lol........ Tim thanks for being a great friend to me, again being patient with me and my cripple in the beginning......your friendship is something I will cherish.........

Storm got dropped twice lastnite.......

1st drop didn't say a peep for a good 15mins then she beat an old bad track for about 30mins and got onto a little better one and treed......treed up an old bushy oak, didn't even try to shine...(got off our hunting property), got outta there, dropped her again......her and the female struck right off the bat in some heavy marsh and then they got quiet.....15mins later Storm opened up and started chopping her heart out........it was thick where she was so it took me a while to get to her.....Looked up and there he sat.....STORM HAD THE MEAT.........

She truely is my fairytale.....I can honestly say I have nothing to hide with Storm and would turn her loose for anyone who doubts it...........But she's getting to be a talked about thing already among people I hunt with.... Done got some nice money offers, but I'll never move her because I love her like a child now........
