UKC's cell phone policy, in relation to nite hunts, is quite simple. You may not "discuss scores" (texting included) with a member(s) of another cast. !

So Allen, lets say a person gets scratched for using their phone to talk to another cast shouldnt both persons and dogs be scratched, we had this come up but only one of the dogs was scratched, that doesnt seem fair to me! what would be ukc's policy on this

If I get beat by a guy that can play poker AND keep track of 4 hounds, and run the time and keep the scores straight all at the same time. I'm going to find a new hobby, because these coonhunters have got WAY to smart for me.

A quick bite on a stick of gum has saved me more minus than I can count.

Stoke I couldn't help but notice why every dog you own is a "pr" dog but yet you seem to know so much about the nite hunts. I ask myself how many times have you been beat to the point where you badmouth my poor looser walker dogs. Is it not enough that my dog has been in 3 UKC hunts and won 2 of them treeing 8 coon to herself in those 3 hunts. You can call my walker dogs anything you want and we shall see who has the frown upon their face at the end of the night. I really would love to come clear to Georgia to hunt against you but it's just really not possible.

I hunt whatever but have always had a real good walker. I think if you walked to too many slick trees you were just hunting the wrong line of walkers. A good switch works on all breeds for slick treeing. It is not a question of breed as much as the line and the trainer. Not saying nothing about you just in general. Sounds like a challenge so you guys come up here to North Carolina and I will guide ya'll on unknown ground. Make it real even. We'll sell tickets and see what happens.

Trust me Stoke im not afraid to turn my dog loose on any given night, however do you honestly expect me or anyone else to drive 12 or 13 hours for the fun of it?

I have not been "called" out on here anywhere within a reasonable driving distance. I love hunting with knew people and dogs so anyone close to Ohio that would like to have some fun and meet treberta let me know.

Stoke I don't have money to just trow around and going to the winter classic would be just that. The luck of the guide determines everything. Im not spending 200 or 300 $ to get a terrible guide. Thanks for the offer though

Youre right stoke, I have no confidence in my two dogs. Youre redbones would probably send me home with my tail between my legs. I get awwwwful nervous when I draw a redbone out in a cast.

It would be my opinion that you are on the cast to call your dog struck and treed NOT to judge the other cast members knowledge of the rules and thier sportsmanship. On a good hunt that may not need to be tested.
If you've disrupted a cast 6 or 7 times as you've stated then I'd say you knowingly caused trouble on several casts whether it's legal or not. Why would you want to do that if it's not nessasary ?
