I LOVE COKE!!

I have drank the Ale8 before and like it.

What is Sun drop that everyone on here is talking about and where do you get it?

I like the Sunkist Orange, second is cheap old best choice red cream, then IBC Root beer.

I've had Sun Drop before, but I'm not crazy about it. Hard to find also.

Another thing about soda, wish it all came in glass bottles still, plastic and cans just aint the same.

I'm not a soda drinker but my favorites would probably be the original Cactus Cooler and Vernor's.

Try a mt. dew code red, it is cherry. I'll stick with diet dew since I can't find diet sun drop here.

I aint sure........

what a soda is, down here in Tenneessee the best coke ever is ROOT BEER.....in a glass bottle......

coke, rc, dr. pepper they were all good back in the old days of glass bottles..... when I was a kid, we'd walk along the road and pick up bottles, then "walk" to the store and trade 5 bottles for a .15 RC & .10 bag of chips......

You've never had Squirt before?! I agree it's pretty good stuff, especially with a lot of ice.
Personally, I'd rather drink lemonade then soda.

Did you ever have Cactus Cooler when you were out here?

Check this out....LOL

http://sodapop-chris.blogspot.com/2...-vs-squirt.html

I'd swear that writer was describing Mt Dew, not Cactus Cooler, in that article.

I'm almost positive C.C. had cherry in it as well when I was a kid. It tasted just like Big Stick popsicles. I need to do some research and see if that was true or just my childhood imagination.

Love to try ALE8. I'm hoping someone from Michigan will offer to send me some Vernor's too. I haven't seen it in the stores around here in years.

soda

In the 1940's there was a soda called "Delaware Punch", grape flavored, smooth as a baby's butt...ice cold out of the cooler...cost a nickel...luved it....also, if you could get to town with a nickel, you could get the coldest Pepsi ever made, right out of the ice house...alwalys cked the bottle to see how far it had come....candy bars a nickel...Baby Ruth and Butterfinger even had bars for two cents.....jb

I've always enjoyed RC Cola, but there is this terrific little rootbeer stand in north Elkhart that offers the best root beer, ever. That is my beverage of choice. : )
