I handed out a couple at the ball park last night to local pleasure hunters. My weekend got a away from me last weekend, but I hope to hit a couple of local hunts this weekend.

The on-line survey is up to 409 at lunch time today. I do have a word document survey too. That is at Coondawg.Com, and I have copies that I have been taking to local hunts and handing out to coon hunters who don't have have computers.

All together, it is really close to about 450. I believe just accessing the poll isn't enough to change the number. The poll has to be submitted to add to the total count.

While 450 is a very good number, I think we can do better. If we can get thousands, I will do the work needed to produce a final product that can only benefit us as a whole.

My goal is to WOW everyone legislators, wildlife managers, and even coon hunters with the whole project.

We seem to be stuck at 416 on-line surveys, and we didn't get any through e-mail or mail yesterday.

If you haven't filled out a survey, please take 15-20 minutes to fill it out either on-line at http://www.thecoonden.com or on Coondawgs.com, or various coon hound state organizations may also have it posted.

Again, the purpose of the survey is to provide legislators and wildlife managers with valuable information regarding coon hunters impact on local economies and the number of days afield.

All individual information will remain confidential! Only the analyzed data will be published.

This information can be a benefit to coon hunters everywhere.
