Consider this scenario. Where I live it would also be the luck of the draw if we didn't use feeders. We have mtns, foothills, flatland, and small swampy areas all within reasonable driving distance. Some may draw out and go to the mtns where the coon population is low. Some may draw out and go to the flatland/small swampy areas where the coon are more plentiful! Get the picture!
