Two of the best movie quotes ever were in Unforgiven.

"You just shot an unarmed man!"
"Well, he should have armed himself if he's gonna decorate his saloon with my friend."

And "All right now, I'm comin' out.... Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any son of a ^$%(* takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his d@mn house down."

Love the "Can't stand rudeness..." one from Lonesome Dove too. That is a classic.

Lonesome Dove:

Woodrow Call: ...and if that ain't bad enough you got all them Greek words on there, too.
Gus McCrae: I told you, Woodrow, a long time ago it ain't Greek, it's Latin.
Woodrow Call: Well what does it say in Latin?
[Gus blusters some gibberish]
Woodrow Call: For all you know it invites people to rob us.
Gus McCrae: Well the first man comes along that can read Latin is welcome to rob us, far as I'm concerned. I'd like a chance t' shoot at a educated man once in my life.

Gus McCrae: I'm just tryin' to keep everything in balance, Woodrow. You do more work than you got to, so it's my obligation to do less

Life in San Francisco is still just life. Now if you want only one thing out of life too much, it's bound to be a disappointment. So, the only healthy way to live life, as I see it, is to enjoy all the little everyday things, like a sip of whiskey in the evening, a soft bed, or a glass of buttermile, or say a fiesty gentleman like myself- Gus McRae

Matter of fact, I like that quote so much I'm changing my signature!

I believe we will require a little respect.I'm Capt. Augustus McCrae, and this is Capt. Woodrow F. Call. Now if you look over there, you can see us in earlier days when the people around here wanted to make us senators. Now the one thing we didn't put up with is doddling service. And as You can See, We still DON'T put Up With It.

Life is short, shorter for some than for others. Now we best be moving on to Montana.

Doc: Why Ed does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend... I just don't think I could bear it!

Doc: Maybe poker's just not your game, Ike. I know: let's have a spelling contest.

Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ...I don't

Now that's the true meaning of pals for all you young guns fans.

Tombstone is a GOOD movie. Other than any John Wayne flick, my favorite movie is Clint Eastwoods "Million Dollar Baby".
