---The female I have now is the best I've ever owned on a lay up. She can make it look easy some times and yes she is an open trailer, just not when she lays one up.

Hey Ron,

Blue River Gypsy was also from this cross.

Spreng's Lady was from the cross of GR NITE CH
Morris Blue River Mike and Nite Ch Burrells Gal.

If you look at Bud's pedigree, Nite Ch Clear Creek Bar was
from the cross of GR NITE CH Morris Blue River Boomer and
Blue River Gypsy.

Renae, What was the fellow's name that owned the "Bar" dog? Was he also a past president of BBOA around '86 or '87 maybe?

Some good old breed impactin hound's from yester year coming up. They "ALL" have left their mark one way or another. To think back is gratifying, to remember them is honorable & required.

Trent B., He was a good'un no matter how he is described by some. Life was good for 'ol "Spanky" when Earl was on the leather end of the lead.

"WHAT A PAIR"!!

My mistake Renae!! Who was the fellow "Boomer" fancier that would have been the President when the National hunt was held in Pittsfeild, Pa. ? I wanna say he had an "All Blue" hound that he advertised a lil back when...................

Never thought about it but I bet their listed in the Blue Book ?

Probably could answer my own "?" if I just looked I reckon...LOL!!

Nothing worse than NUMB fingers doing things that take movement... and pressure...LOL...
Molly was probably COLD! I love the look on her face... a bit hornery but silly at the same time... she could break out in a grin any moment....

Troy,Nope, wasn't Mr Darby . I'll get it figured out one way or the other. Maybe he was from Ohio? Heck, I don't know but it's botherin me now so I may have to sink into the archive's section of the cave.

I swear his name is on the tip of my tongue I just can't spit it out is all!?!!

Perry, Wasn't them either & not 100% on that bein the cross that "Snow" was out of to be honest. Drawin a bit of a blank about her & have thought of her a few time's recently just can't seem to get that withdrawl from the file's.

The female that we brought back though is the one that I got traded to Pat Scott for John to get "Spanky" though. I recall that but not her name? Whiter open ticked kinda female & a NtCh.

BCD, "Toad" was well versed in the gettin his photo takin department by that time & yes we kinda liked each other as well!!

Renae, I can remember that day quite well. It was purty cold for sure & I recall your hand's freezin up, then when we came in the house you put'um under hot water & went down or about did from it ! Pass out kinda deal ? Shelly said it was because I touched your hand's & caught you.....LOL!!

"NO BLUSHING NOW!!"

I remember it very well!! I don't remember you touching me!!
I do remember being on the floor!!! I didn't pass out, but was real close!! The good old times!!!

The year Bluetick Days was in Pittsfield was 1986.

Robert McMillan was President and Jim Upton was Vice President.

Both had Blueticks, but I don't remember either having all Blue dogs??

"BUM","Fetch me up my good readin glass' !"

I guess I'm confused more than I thought then about that president thing not that that's a suprise to me though. Maybe he was with the host club/zone or sumthin ? I know he was the dude handin out the final string of hardware & thankin everyone for supportin it.

I remember "Toad" cockin his leg on him while he was givin the speech & me tellin him how sorry I was! He said a hound that color doin some collectin was more than welcome. Dang gum it gotta go do some diggin now

I know I got everyone else confused now as well...LOL!! I'll get it figured out to clear it up if'n I can ?

"YEP", Shelly said........................LOL!!

Pokin fun at ya Renae!!

Get's awful boring when your shut in for a couple month's & the snow is two feet deep in the holler !

Cabin fever?........."YEP"!!

Global warming? I think Gore should have inhaled a lil more!!

Global warming my butt !

Renae,
---I've missplaced those darn 6 gen papers you sent me on Bud. I was sure Sizemore's Scout was in there a few times but forgot just how. So your saying Bar was from a Boomer X neice cross, via Gypsy. Wow, that sure was tightening up on the all blue stuff!
---What a great pic of Molly and Toad! Molly sure looked like Dew in that picture and Toad looked nearly black in the white background. Good stuff!!

Later, Ron

Russ,
That is a fine looking hound with a GREAT pedigree to boot. I wish you all the best with Patch and Bum!
It was also really nice seeing all of the other pictures of the many wonderful blue hounds of the past.

How's my former student the "Flea" doin for ya? I know you changed her name but can't recall what to though?

I figured her as a hustlin lil huzzy full of energy. She's packin a sweet pedigree as well !

Good luck to you as well !!

We're all in the same boat, huntin a hound or 4 or 5 that "WE" like.

Priority one....................

Don't know if I will make it down there or not. Might go down for the heck of it just to see Matt get all nerved up, that would be worth the drive to see that. LOL.

Russ, I think Bum deserves to ride in a new Mega Cab dodge!

Nice shiny blue or red would look real nice hauling all the blues and red dog in!

I can just see Bum now, sittin up there all purty like!

Bryan, He wouldn't know how to handle himself in a new one & doubt he'll get the opportunity...LOL!!

He's perfectly happy ridin in them used model's & all he'll probably ever be in. Prefer's the back seat generally because there's that extra padding/bounce factor when I put'er in the snow bank's or the ditch !!
