Diamond Naturals

We feed the Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete its 32/25 and man does it do good. No by-products, No corn and No Wheat. Does love it. It's a bit pricy but i have 7 dogs(6 hounds & 1 APBT) but im feeding 12(2 more hounds, 1 APBT & Italian greyhound dogs and they are all doing good. We wont change to anything else. Its a good food for the price. It only comes in a 40# sack and were paying 27.99 a bag right now.

Yes ultra is a much better feed than Hi-Standard. I did need to feed much more feed when I fed Hi-Standard. I have a Hi-Standard dealer 5 miles from my house that is a friend of mine.I still drive 50 miles to get Ultra because it is a better feed and it is cheaper to feed because you will not feed near as much of it.

Ill second the extreme athelete! I've fed a bunch of diff foods over the years snd this is the first that I've actually noticed a diff in stool consistancy and volume.
Pro plan would be the next I'd feed.

We feed Prism 26/18 and love the results. We use to feed Diamond 26/18, but had so many problems after the contamination thing, we were at a loss how to fix it. My females wouldn't cycle and when they did, we bred them and didn't get any pups. A friend of ours told us about Prism, said he had the same problems with Diamond and told us to try Prism, he said it fixed his dogs right up and in 6 mos. time, he was getting healthy pups. So we switched and the results were out of this world. We pay $20 for a 40# bag of the 26/18. We have our dogs on auto feeders and go through a 40# bag in a week and a half to 2 weeks, depending how cold it is. We are feeding 3 adults and a 5 mos. old pup and they are all fat and in good condition. There isn't a lot of clean up with Prism either. In the summer our food bill goes way down, they just don't need to eat a lot to stay in good weight and have energy.

We all complain about corn in our dog feed but years ago the standard feed for running dogs was corn meal , cracklins, and bone or blood meal. The corn meal was boiled in a pot with water and then the other mixed in. They seamed to do fine on it and were run harder than any of us run our coonhounds today.

Yes, the stool is so easy to clean up. Its a great food. I have feed probably all the best foods out there and this is by far the best food for the money. It may be pricy but its worth it. I love it. I will post pics of what my dogs look like on it. They look nice.

funny thing about this whole thing is we all know a lot of diff name dog feed is made from the same stuff, we saw that with the bad corn deal and all the name brands that came from that mill. but what i call good dog feed and what works for my dog is one thing and what you think is totaly diff. so i say just try diff types of feed with your dogs and what works stay with it.. and all brands have there good feed and then there better feed just diff names sports mix has pro pac as up grade then they have country value as there lowend.
