With the coon value from your neck of the woods you made more money than your kids and grandkids could ever spend in one night. Do you need anymore close friends?

One night back in 1993 Jimmy Hylton was up from Virginia, hunting with my buddy and me, we saw 67 coons that night. 44 in one spot and 23 in another, I believe the dogs made 6 or seven trees, and we shot about eight of those raccoons. I know in some areas in Ontario coons can be awful thick, but to actually tree that many, would definately be a feat. I doubt I will ever see it in my lifetime.

You have to account for the two Mack Quad axle dump trucks that he was hunting out of to haul them all home. And diesel fuel aint free, he still lost money just like the rest of us. lol

And you need to get yourself a Havalon, no issues with a dull blade there. Also makes sense about the 22 ammo shortage.

45 min hunt

1 night just came to my mind. I turned loose a good Redbone with Black Creek Magic (Walker). Redbone treed 3 singles in 45 minutes up 1 holler. Magic treed 9 singles up 9 trees in that same holler. Just a pleasure hunt in East Central Il with Jeff Wood.
That was 1 nice holler full of coon and a real nice Walker that could find coon very quick.
This was in the early 90's when Magic was running the Purina Race.

In 1979 treed 12

In 1980 treed 12 with 3 good dogs on a 2 mile hike in remote country these are all dog treed no shiners. Treed 10 with old Bud and he was 10 years old last hunt he made 1983. I don't hunt like that anymore and around our area my hunts are rather short anymore.

How many?

Never counted per nite but we treed 2 one week. I'll take $2000 for the dog. Can't promise he could do that every week though.

11 coon 2 hrs

I guided a cast a few yrs ago out of Yale Ohio. (Portage County Coon Hunters) which is in North East Ohio. The cast scored on 11 coon in 2 hrs. There were plenty of split trees. Crow Creek Gator won that cast with 1100+, no O, no -. I believe it was Gators first hunt.

To tree 42 singles in one night you must have been using the alpha 200 and had it set on easy mode!!! LOL
