I still happen to have one tied up in the yard as well. He will be 12 may the 15 and took him out the other night did a real nice job. Don't hunt him hardly at all anymore but he was a hell of a dog in his day. Seen him tree coons others couldn't smell and seen him on either his 8 or 9 birthday (can't remember for sure) give a cast of young walkers a good scoldin to win first place in an RQE. Also seen him run completely out of hearing and be under a coon when you find him and the others not doing anything behind him. Never saw him pass up many coon either. Oh ya, he is blue.

I understand what your saying and agree.

Won't toot my own horn, so call this number and ask this gentleman what he witnessed my Jake dog do a few years back on this particular single digit January night. 989-233-7582

K-DUBB how was that old female my ole man used to hunt bred you would know better than me i never looked at her papers. She was bar none the best track, tree dog package in the walker breed i ever followed. Not just because we owned her but she struck ran and treed a coon track the way i thought it should of been done.

Gordy,
That dogs mother(Gypsy) was a half sister to bodee.. Your Lady dog was Houses bred , Dohoney's Ringo , Rock River Ring. You're right she was one of the best track dogs
I followed and was very accurate...

thanks brandon she was a nice old female. if i could find another one just like her i might consider hunting another walker dog. but its the friendly fire like this that made me go to hunting my english dogs. that way i aint wrestling with my buddies about what bloodline of the breed im hunting. lets take a minute to let a old english dog rest in peace. he went by the name of TRACKER. (brandons first coon hound).

I was fishing last summer in the yadkin river. jeff my dad was with me. We sat there chatting and dad told me I remind him of Danial Boone. Thunder came and we went home. Next day we floated the Rock River. Sun was shining, just a nice day. We seen all kinds of rocks in there of course. Guess what we seen by the flatrocks. Bones, you guessed right. Not sure what from. I ended up catching 4 carp in 17 minutes. Dad said I catch them Carp like a bad habit. Eagan couldn't believe I caught them in 17 minutes. Said thats superman style. I said whatever whitey. We called it a day and headed to the house. Clint pups sure are growing good now, just checked them. Hope someday they will run one down the bear creek. Jake treed his first coon along there. If the weather breaks soon I'll be hitting the timber hardcore. Chrome ready for a hunt soon?

Not tootin my own horn Mr. Crocker, just stating facts. All I ever did was give the dog the time in the timber. He did all the work. You can ask anyone who ever hunted with the dog about him. All I ever did was call him for what he did. No fast handling here and never brought in a question on any of the casts I was in. Doubt I will ever get another like him and have seen few like him to this day. Maybe wrong but I think he was a tough dog to beat.

I got one here like that but he wont ever win a hunt, because he is Ill and Trashy, he also pulls, and hunts way too wide, to turn loose just anywhere.
I love to hunt this hound by himself, he has lost some speed as he is getting old now, but Dang he has caught alot of Coon, on the ground, and put them up bushes.
I bred him to my female, but the pups werent any good, they are more like fox hounds, than tree hounds, and spooky, they prefer to run Cyote to Coon.
The hound is Open Registered, with only his name on the pedigree, I have no Idea, what he is out of.
But regarding the original post, he is a Genuine, Track dog, that will definately show you a Coon, fast.

This is my young dog Cash,he treed 5 coon 12/11/2008,14 degree temp. in lower Mich. on the snow.He is a track dog, that is why he is accurate! All I have done is hunt him the right way, the rest he has done "naturally".........
He is out of Stylish Coma and Wipeout Sis.He is double Flatrock Coma....Sis was out of Moose and a female out of Sackett Jr.and Cedar run Doll[half bro. and half sis cross]Cedar Run Doll was a littermate to Southern Pines Jet.
